Intuitive and fluid system with one of the best dash cancel mechanics available in any fighting game. Variety of playstyles among the cast, easy to pick up and engaging. Rollback netcode. You should be firing this game up at your locals.
This game is a lot of fun. Pretty solid fighter. I like where it's headed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=om4PbiqlB8E&t=1219s
This game is a love letter to fighting games. The loading times are ultra fast. It has an option for easy inputs, or you can go normal inputs. This makes it fun for more people to enjoy. I know I would rather a game have easy inputs, and I can still use the classic Quarter Circle input for a good match. Because the worst thing to have to do in a fighting game is sandbag. But with easy inputs, it allows newer players to compete and makes the battles more engaging. The characters are unique and fun. I especially like Bolt, he was very fun. If you are new or a veteran to fighting games. This is definitely worth to have in your library. I highly recommend. My only complaint was that the easiest AI still felt a little too difficult. When I first try a new fighting game I like to drop to the easiest settings, and get a feel for the game. See an ending of a character, and then kick up the difficulty. When I dropped the setting to the lowest, I still had to use strategy. But it did feel good when I finally beat it. Other than that small issue, this is a very great game. (Also this is in early access, so it is only going to get better)

really great juggle mechanics. Could turn you into a scalie
I went in not expecting anything at all. Indie fighting games are quite a gamble. This game is VERY good so far. The game fully explains everything within itself, and there are a lot of systems in the game that aren't overly complicated but very fun and useful. The characters are very interesting, game play is solid, and its clearly made by someone who plays fighting games, which is something Fight of Gods/Animals developer clearly isn't. I really thought we'd be jumping into a silly mess of a game and came out with something that we actually REALLY want to play! Great job!
Mattrified is building an exquisitely intertwined fighting game system. Tons of potential for player creativity with their pop gem system allowing dash cancels, mixup possibilities, push blocks and defensive rolls. This fighting system is wrapped up In a unique setting and surrounded by interesting characters. With story mode on the way, a solid tutorial, training mode, character trials and rollback netcode Merfight is aiming to hit all the right marks.
Una joya indie imprescindible. Las mecánicas son ingeniosas e intuitivas, permitiendo empezar a exprimirle toda la diversión al juego en cuestión de minutos.
Need to play more but this is amazing not only for a solo developer, directly speaking about fighting games. I Will Update the review once I continue playing and trying
