It's available for free, and I bought it regardless. It is worthy.
As a 8k hours Aseprite user, I can say that Pixelorama makes for a tough competition. In 5 minutes of using it I found all the features Dacad's lazy bum refuses to implement for almost a decade. AND you can import Aseprite format in pixelorama. Wooooweeee! P.S.: pls replace music in the store page preview. Its kinda grating and almost made me skip this GEM.
Bought it to support the devs. This saved me from grief over old software I loved, but can't use any longer... It's imo the best for pixel art, but I'd like to see some performance updates when drawing bigger canvases, because it can get quite laggy or even unresponsive, when painting in areas while having a larger area selected. Then again, this is technically free, so I can't complain. I just hope that with financial support, they can improve the app even more :)

Nice, easy to use! Recommend it over Piskel.
I'm starting to like this a lot. I was let down by Asesprite since it lacked a lot of basic functionnalities as a beginner (lots of UI hidden in shortcuts). Asesprite felt terrible for graphic tablet. Pixelorama feels clean and easy to use. Plus I can recommend to my friends, since it's free and even in the browser. Perhaps what I would like to see is a cloud save for preferences and settings, because I switch between computers. Integration for achievements is nice too, maybe I would like to see a day streak notification for keeping me coming back, and give some goals with that.
It's been a while when I last used Pixelorama! The export zoom not being able to go past 1000% was a bit disappointing for me it the past: So I'm glad I can export 64 px pixel arts in ~1000 pixels! Auto-updates (Steam setting) on Steam to my Bazzite-Gnome Deck (Used SteamOS on Steam Deck in the last week) is great, I guess! Also: I recommend to get the Lospec Palette importer extension (and to enable it!)
really good considering its free too
Have been using this to make all the assets in my game. This is super convenient for simple 2D art.
I CAN ANIMATE PIXEL ARTTT
pretty good and intuitive. 10/10
