Despite this game feeling like a tech demo I really enjoy what the developer made so far. I'd like the idea for the combat system and that you summon the cards to help you by your side, that was a really refreshing and interesting take. Despite how short the game is I found myself enjoying every minute, and even with the fights varying from very easy to almost feels impossible I did find myself trying to make new strategies to actually beat them. The game might not be worth it at full price as it is only about 2-3 hours long with only about 3 maps, and while there is multiple different endings. My only big grape I have is that the story here is absolutely nonexistent, and the reason why it is my biggest gripe is because the beginning did have me interested enough to figure out what's going on only to find out that it's as bare bones as it gets. If there is any feedback I would give in this game is that it desperately needs a deck loadout system where you can save and load different deck recipes between fights. Having to dismantle your deck because some cards are absolutely useless versus certain monsters in the game becomes very tedious as you have to keep changing it over and over again. It would also make trying out new strategies feel more fun. Last but not least please add a redo system or a load your last save after a defeat. Because this game is really adult trial and error having to go to the main menu every time you lose also makes the runtime feel very padded. Overall I had a wonderful time with this game and despite my issues with the game I highly recommend at least giving it a try!
