Good game overall, but needs some fine tuning. Pretty please have some sort of crop management where we can set what crop will go into which farm/spot coz currently I have to compete with my worker to plant my barley, carrot and oat while he plants seeds randomly in the field. Also would be nice to have a production queue for the blacksmith coz I keep forgetting to put on stuff for him to make after my initial order and when I finally remember the day is gone... For the store would be nice to have a sell all/keep 'x' amount instead of having to disable the item for sale altogether. A horse lineage tree would be handy as well. Overall it's quiet enjoyable and hoping to see some more development.
I am not a horse guy, but i am a all animal loving type + a sim lover. But daaam, those horse go wrooom wrooom when you brooom brooom xD Sorry for my bad dad humor, but i really like this game so far. Its not the most pretty, but all the stuff you can do compared to many other sims, love this new take.

Who doesn't want to be a horse dealer in medieval times? Breeding and raising horses across generations is super addictive, and there are tons of other things to do as well. Great game!
Super addictive game! Had to force myself to stop for now. No idea how long it’s going to take to beat this.
This stupid horse game has taken over my life. It has lured me in with its charm of breeding horses and seeing all the pretty colours. I have been late to work every day for 3 days- I have 29ish hours total and i bought this game 3 days ago! Highly recommend if you wish to get your life ruined.
Must play for umamusume fans
Great game! I love shop games and am interested in horse games. I've just not found one that was for me. I like the raising, breeding and selling part of the horse games. I don't love the must ride them on a racetrack and train them part. I'm terrible at that. You have the choice in this game to train them, or allow an npc to do it once you've upgraded your training grounds some. I absolutely love it. It also has some of the other medieval stuff for shop games. There is of course selling your horses, a shop that you can buy and re-sell items at a profit, gardening and blacksmithing. I see something about a merchant train but I've not made it that far yet. I just loved it so much I had to give it a review. I don't often leave reviews, but this game just speaks to me. :D
I hate to put a negative review for a horse game, but wow, this is not what I hoped it would be. I saw a review mentioned they'd fixed the push broom "curry comb" but...they turned it into a snow shovel???? At least a push broom (in some form) probably existed in medieval times, and honestly, they could have just re-sized the model (and lopped off the handle) and hey presto, you have a hard brush. But scraping a shovel on a horse is just...wow. It's A Choice, that's for sure. Obviously I didn't get far enough to explore other aspects of the game, like staff, getting better horses (I did breed a cute foal), more facilities, etc. However, this all felt like they didn't polish anything from the demo, just added more quickly thrown together stuff. Other not-great things (note I lasted 21 min before giving up because this game also made my head hurt, I think from the violent animation swings while riding your horse): - your first 5 minutes are gathering wood + grass to build barns and make feed. You're supposedly an impoverished baron, surely you have some friends and/or supplies on hand? (Also wow the volume on the axe chopping was insane, I lowered the settings in the game but finally just turned my speakers almost completely off) - why are we adding a shopkeep element to a game titled "horse dealer"? I play a decent amount of shop/job sims, but this game has managed to add all of the annoying micro-management of them (ordering stock one-by-one, giving change in exact coinage, re-stocking shelves via multiple mouse clicks). Again, this is a game about dealing horses, I would expect/forgive those annoyances when I'm selling the horses I buy/breed, not when I'm selling candles + parchment (to afford to build a barn for the horses the game is supposedly about) - the minigame for training...wow. I don't know if I got unlucky by picking the courage training, but it is not fun, is quite hard, and literally does not involve your horse in any way. I think speed was the one in the demo, and at least with that one you were riding/controlling the horse through a very basic little course. Courage has you using WASD to try and prevent a ball from falling off a tilting plate. It's like they had this mechanic for some completely different game and just threw it in because it was already built. - if you buy tack for your horse, they stay in their tack 24/7. Including when you are "brushing" them with your snow shovel. - I spent a day and a half (in game) with the tutorial bugging me to sell a horse, but even after I set my candle/parchment shop to be closed, no one showed up at the little stand for horse selling, so I couldn't sell my stud with his new fancy tack that he clearly loves wearing all the time. - the horse movements when you're riding them are super janky. They seem to only "turn" in 30ish degree directions, as far as I can tell they have no gaits, their mane takes up half the screen. If training is going to be a non-horse-involved minigame anyway, I don't know why you have to go through the bother of getting on the horse to ride it 20 feet to the training area. I did the training twice (doing slightly better the second time), but have no idea what effect it had on the horse, or if there'd be any point to devoting more time to figuring out the minigame better. - I got a prompt after brushing my stud that my excellent care has had an effect. One of the options would increase pregnancy chance (?? not sure if this means the stud is more fertile, the mares he breeds with would have a higher pregnancy chance, or if this is just a pointless choice for a stud), the other increased one of his stats. I picked option 2 because of all the questions on option 1, but this could have been solved so easily by renaming that effect (if it affected his fertility, or would help mares bred to him somehow) or just not giving a female-benefit choice for a male horse? Really bizarre. The entire vibe is that none of the dev team has ever taken care of/interacted with/seen a real horse. That was my real deal-breaker, I can forgive a lot of jank for a horse game, but it has to be enjoyable on some level (I think seeing the foal was the only bit), and it has to feel like it has some awareness of horses.
It's quite rough around the edges, however the gameplay loop is quite niche and the underlying fundamentals definitely have potential. I'm still quite early into the game, but I'm enjoying it. Happy to look beyond the rough parts of the game given that the gameplay itself is quite fun. It's not something I'd personally consider to be a "finished" game with all the polish expected, but it does seem to be sold that. If the developer commits to really improving on what is already existing, then this really could be quite the gem in the future. There's a fair bit of it that doesn't feel visually consistent (specifically the NPC characters that visit the town look like they belong to entirely different game genres if I'm being honest), but these are things that can be improved upon in the future, and with the game being available for sale hopefully some cash injection can help the developer in that pursuit. Don't personally know of the developer's history, so as always in cases like this it's a bit of a leap of faith especially how rampant the gaming industry is these days with very under baked cash grab attempts, but I'm finding myself still enjoying the game after the first few hours. There is a lot that could still be implemented to improve and expand on it further however, and I hope to see that happen - so with that in mind I'll give this a positive review in its current state (though I'm not oblivious to its rough edges).
