So far this game has been great (about to start my 4th year in game), its a really good blend between a traditional city builder and a RPG game. So far I haven't played the campaign mode, just building my village in the Oxbow region, but even in the Oxbow region, you still have some quests to complete - all optional unless you want to unlock fast travel to your village. While most of the quests in the Oxbow are simple, the dialog for the quests can be quite amusing. Pros: - Game seems to be generally bug free (for me, anyway). Had a couple game crashes, but its likely a system issue as I have that happen with other games too. 1 time the fertilizer I made disappeared, but other than that the only bug I encountered was my settlers kind of floating to their destination rather than walking. - Managing settlers, buildings, and livestock is very straight forward. - Upgrading and/or moving building is easy - Plenty of exterior aesthetics to make your village really look like a true medieval village - Plenty of options to change the difficulty of the game, from the resources NPCs need to XP gains, enemy/animal damage and HP to whether or not you even need to eat/drink and more - Being able to change how many days are in a season gives you plenty of time to do building and quests in between seasons; and after like 3 days you can just skip to the next season if you want. Cons: - The stats you can gain are somewhat limited. There's not much you can do to increase stats relating to combat, and all level caps are fairly limited as it is. Having stats for particular weapon types would be great, as would just having more levels to earn for the stats that are already in the game. - By default the game limits the amount of buildings to 70. While this might seem reasonable, each orchard and field for crops counts as a building, if you don't start your settlement near larger areas of open land, you can easily reach that limit. The game does allow for you to increase the amount of buildings allowed, but strongly advises against it. - Interior decorations are a joke - Exterior decorations of the buildings themselves are lacking, especially when it comes to buildings that aren't homes - Maybe I just haven't progressed far enough, but when you unlock your village sign, it only allows fast travel TO your village from a game village - but you cannot travel FROM your village to others. At this point it almost just seems better to buy a donkey or horse for travel. - Combat is boring, and with the heat/cold elements in the game, its kind of impossible to run around with armor during the summer unless you take a bunch of potions and booze to help with that. Even then, its generally boring. All in all, this game is excellent if you enjoy city-builders in this era (such as manor lords) but want that RPG element. It feels quite immersive, the soundtrack is enjoyable (though a bit more diversity in it would be nice), all the building is fun, and the quests dialog offsets the simplicity of most quests. 8.5/10

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I wasn't expecting this game to actually be relaxing, especially since I got my ass handed to me by a wild boar five minutes into the gameplay. But it really is a good game, for people who are looking for a settlement builder that lets you live in it, too. I personally haven't played the main story because I was more into the Oxbow, but it is on my radar. The main thing I don't like is the inability to be gay in this game. The men are babies whose pixels were put together with audacity and nothing else, why would I want one in my house? "But you need a man and woman for a baby for your dynasty!" you say, but orphans can exist. Skyrim let me make orphans and that was 2011. Get with the times!
I enjoy survival/crafting games. Unfortunately, this is one of the most repetitive games I have played. The early game promises a lot but man this game really failed to deliver. There are just better entries in the survival genre at this point. Very dull. Hundreds of fetch quests. Only about 5 enemy types. Played about 30 hours and had fun for probably 15 of those.
sehr lame vorallem keine kämpfe
Oyunu başlayınca bir yerden bir yere gitmek çok zordu at sürme mekaniği olmadığını sandım ve bir köyden diğer köye daha hızlı gitmek için csde yaklaşık 400 saat bunny hop kastım ardından oyuna geri girdim ve at satın alindigini farkettim böyle yapımcının an*sini k*risin s*kim ayrıca bu at niye hep düşüyor or*spu c*cuklari
I've been having a great time with Medieval Dynasty. The graphics look beautiful, and the game runs surprisingly well even on my gaming laptop with an RTX 3050 Ti (4 GB, 50W). It still looks great while maintaining smooth performance. The atmosphere is one of the game's biggest strengths. The world feels alive thanks to random events, abandoned carts, bandit encounters, camps, and other small details that make exploration enjoyable. Building your settlement is satisfying, and managing your village is fun without becoming overwhelming. Watching your little community grow over time is rewarding. The hunting system deserves special praise. It's not just "shoot and collect." You need to stay hidden, think carefully about where you aim, and if you don't land a vital shot, you'll often have to track the animal by following its blood trail. Finally catching it feels genuinely rewarding. The survival mechanics are also well balanced. Managing temperature, hunger, and thirst adds immersion without becoming frustrating or constantly getting in the way of gameplay. Progression takes time, but it never feels like an exhausting grind. You always feel like you're making progress, which keeps the experience enjoyable. The only thing I really miss is voice acting and a bit more life on the roads, such as traveling caravans or random NPCs passing by. That said, it's a small complaint because the world already feels alive thanks to all the random events. Overall, if you enjoy medieval life sims, village building, survival, and exploration, I can definitely recommend Medieval Dynasty.
This isn't it. Felt like a good demo, but there's not enough here to make me feel like it was worth the money
