About

Operating directly under the National Command Authority, a relatively unknown entity of handpicked warriors are selected when it is crucial that a mission must not fail. They are the Tier 1 Operators. There are over 2 million active soldiers. Of those, approximately 50 thousand fall under the direct control of the Special Operations Command. The Tier 1 Operator functions on a level above and beyond even the most highly trained Special Operations Forces. Their exact numbers, while classified, hover in the low hundreds. They are living, breathing, precision instruments of war. They are experts in the application of violence. The new Medal of Honor™ is inspired by and developed with actual Tier 1 Operators from this elite community. Players step into the boots of these warriors and apply their unique skill sets to fight a new enemy in the most unforgiving and hostile conditions of present day Afghanistan.
This is a new war. There is a new warrior. He is Tier 1.

Pretty formulaic fps from the Call of Duty Xbox 360 era, but pretty fun for what it is. Fairly generic gameplay, but decent graphics and a surprisingly engaging, if overly trope-y, story. Only about 5 or so hours, which was typical for the time this game came out, but worth a playthrough. It's biggest crime was being released only a few short weeks before Call of Duty: Black Ops, so any chance this game had to succeed would have been squashed anyway. Also, the multiplayer was never great, but those servers are shut down now anyway.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

MoH '10 is criminally short and i wish it was longer. the shooting mechanics feel good, guns are nice to use, though you're heavily incentivised to keep to the starting equipment since only those weapons have optical sights and other aattachments and you have the ability to request ammo from your squadmates, enemy weapons however require you to scavenge ammo and don't have any attachments and iron sights only story-wise the game basically has none for like half the game. the game tries to build a story of comraderie between the squad members (a story telling method that the franchise has done well in an older entry (that being MoH Passific Assault)), however it spends no time actually fleshing out any of the squad members, no backstories for any of the characters and barely any character building screentime for them, frankly i can't even tell them apart without their nametag floating above them (and yes that lack of definition lead to several friendly fire incidents). the setting doesn't lend itself to any storytelling either, its just generic middle-east taliban fighting, sometimes its at night, sometimes its from a long way away with a .50cal, but a lot of it is with an M4 on the technical side the game runs fine, its locked to 60fps max, it supports up to 1440p natively (thats as high as my setup can go, probably supports even higher if you got a monitor that does it). mouse sensitivity was super high even when lowered to the lowest setting but it was manageable for me at that spot. the game however will not start if you have a Razer device plugged in. i don't know why but it seems that all Razer products are built with an extreme hatred for this game. the game would freeze up "not responding" on the splash screen when i had my Razer mouse plugged in but when i unplugged it and retried the game ran fine and i was able to plug the mouse back in after reaching the main menu this game comes with a CD key that needs to be input at the first game load (which was the style of the time for DRM before denuvo came along and ate all our performance), Steam with show you this CD key before the game starts, copy that CD key or write it down or take a photo of it then input the key into the box when prompted, its not hard. it fascinates me how so many people get stuck on this i'm also being told that one should De-Auth the game once you are done with it, because of a DRM system that is actually worse than denuvo, system locking/limited active installs overall its a good game to throw up for an afternoon when you're tired of your chosen live service grind
