Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 9.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Played it on the free weekend. Pushed to do a lot and see a lot. Got through the opening act, fairly sure I was about done with act 2. Got up to Hero of faction. Did some side quest (comms mission chains). It's alright with other people. It was kind of enjoyable with a single player, but I don't recommend it. Mildly engaging, but repetitive gameplay loop with poor AI. The AI is bad more than half of the time. You'll see vehicles literally drive in circles while un engaged or flipping themselves over before exploding. You can find mechs that will stand in place without shooting, run away without shooting at anyone (while turning their turret back and forth), or run into wedges in the environment which get them stuck for extended times. Your ability to order your allied AI around isn't deep enough to get them to act on their own. The story is surface level. You're with your father's company. A group comes in and kills him while you're on a mission together. You escape and vow revenge. This is the opening video. Bumped into some 'means of production,' story bits. Found an option to either raid a farm or protect a farm. The weapons are a mixed bag. The lasers are alright. The machine guns don't seem to really rip anything up. The big auto canons are lovely. PPC's feel like shooting lightning (you get janky sideways shots when around trees as the game tries to avoid having things clip together... I assume this is UE jank), but it's not terribly accurate. The SRM play like a brief stream or a shot gun. LRM you throw out and they rain down. Missiles can be fired without a lock on or with one. Without a lock on the SRM are just fine. Without a lock on the LRM have issues even targeting buildings well. Melee is odd. Punching worked, but I didn't seem to have a method of kicking, stomping, or head butting... You can just ram into people, but it's rough on the user as well. On the note of ramming and stomping... I could not get the death from above power stomp. Everyone moves too fast unless they are already down a leg or an urbie. Control of the mech was excellent. Legs and torso are not tied together so you can shoot while strafing or change sides to try to better protect a shoulder/leg. Jump jets have a little bit of start up lag which lets you make sure you mean to mash on it. The jump jets work fair enough. You smash them to go up or get a small bit of air, let off, then start again to get great horizontal speed. Be mindful of falling distance as it will cause damage if you don't use some fuel to brake. I never saw damage from horizontal speed, only vertical drop distances. There are tons of points to go to on the map, but most of it is pointless. Unless it's in a conflict zone, there won't be missions. If its outside of a conflict zone a small number of hubs are industrial... and you can only refit / repair in industrial zones. Shopping is limited, which is alright, but this means if you find some cool guns out in the wild... you may not find any ammo for said guns. I picked up a chemical shooter and multiple rifles and could not find any ammo for them after going over ~20 hubs. The only times I really enjoyed playing the game I found myself ripped from it shortly after. The frequent nonsense with the trees and a PCC going sideways is a major down side. The lack of ability to target a certain distance with LRM (tell it to shoot X meters away or Y meters behind a wall) made the LRM less useful than expected. You can spam and splash mechs with SRM, but you won't knock them down. If you want something co-op for your group (up to 4 players total) you can do free missions (there are a few pre-made ones or random generation) or have them join into your campaign as you want.

This is bad. Procedurally-generated slop, a terrible mechlab interface, and a game with horrible world-building compared to the masterpiece that came before it (MW4M). I've only heard good things about the DLC... but the base game is complete trash. There is little redeeming about this game unless you mod it to compensate - the models are pretty detailed, and the feel of mech piloting is rather nice, but everything else about the experience just kinda ruins it for me. Go download MechWarrior 4 for free, or even try out MechWarrior Online, for the money I just can't stand by this product.
All system nominal..
Did I strap 11 Small Heavy lasers to a Firemoth and drive by backshot an atlas at 324kph? Yes. Yes I did.
душная несбалансированная дрисня
Только для фанатов, большие неповоротливые роботы уничтожают других роботов. Если вы еще и книги по вселенной читали то вообще бинго(я читал)
good game. solid 0/10. why? much of the base game is hidden behind dlcs. want to do a career mode. 20 dollar dlc. (on top of base game cost) want mech they removed for no reason. dlc. want maps they removed that other games had. dlc. i cant stress how bad dlcs ♥♥♥♥ has become.
Some missions require you to stomp around(destroy) a base. The GFX would glitch, causing buildings to disappear, making the mission even more difficult as I'm starting to get attacked by 8 mechs flying towards me. Most maps are fairly large, which means using heavier mechs makes missions take forever to complete. Choosing Medium or Light mechs made the game more fun during my sessions. The game tries to keep you poor. Repairs are costly and take a lot time to fix. Which then means you end up paying the monthly fees more often before you can get to your next mission. The mechs you can buy are usually parts, or damaged frames. Either way you're going to have to spend quite a bit of money to build what you want. Sometimes you'll find a mech that's fully built and undamaged but expect to pay a lot. Trying to buy new weapons or equipment is also tedious as most planets only carry a handful of items. Sourcing ammo was somewhat uncommon too. --- Overall, the game feels slow, boring, and the money systems are always against you. It feels like they want you to scrape everything from the battlefields but doing so means you don't make enough money for the monthly fees. All of that said. I think the Steam Workshop is a must in order to have any fun with the game. YAML mod to be exact. Also there are some game asset optimization mods that fixed the GFX glitches I was having. All of this reminds me of the Battletech videogame in some ways.. slow space travel, money issues, and the lame Weapon Hardpoint system. The only saving grave here is that at least with MW5, Workshop/mods can fix most of those things.
MechWarrior 5 - the Kitchen Aid Titanfall
Ah, Mech Warrior 5's robots – a true marvel of modern technology... if we were living in the early 2000s. It's fascinating how they managed to capture the essence of clunkiness and inefficiency in every mechanical movement. Who needs the grace and fluidity of Titanfall's BT when you can experience the sheer frustration of trying to navigate a robot that handles like a refrigerator on roller skates? Kudos to MW5 for revolutionizing the way we perceive both advanced robotics and kitchen appliances.
