Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 9.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The worst Unreal slop I have every played. Bad resolution scaling behavior, restart to change graphics settings, tons of shader stutter, low, fixed FOV on foot, extremely spongey camera controls. Also it looks like crap. Absolute trash. I was hesitant to try it because I suspected as much, turned out it was each to tell all along. I have been waiting for a good western mech game for nearly three decades and I will keep waiting.
Some missions require you to stomp around(destroy) a base. The GFX would glitch, causing buildings to disappear, making the mission even more difficult as I'm starting to get attacked by 8 mechs flying towards me. Most maps are fairly large, which means using heavier mechs makes missions take forever to complete. Choosing Medium or Light mechs made the game more fun during my sessions. The game tries to keep you poor. Repairs are costly and take a lot time to fix. Which then means you end up paying the monthly fees more often before you can get to your next mission. The mechs you can buy are usually parts, or damaged frames. Either way you're going to have to spend quite a bit of money to build what you want. Sometimes you'll find a mech that's fully built and undamaged but expect to pay a lot. Trying to buy new weapons or equipment is also tedious as most planets only carry a handful of items. Sourcing ammo was somewhat uncommon too. --- Overall, the game feels slow, boring, and the money systems are always against you. It feels like they want you to scrape everything from the battlefields but doing so means you don't make enough money for the monthly fees. All of that said. I think the Steam Workshop is a must in order to have any fun with the game. YAML mod to be exact. Also there are some game asset optimization mods that fixed the GFX glitches I was having. All of this reminds me of the Battletech videogame in some ways.. slow space travel, money issues, and the lame Weapon Hardpoint system. The only saving grave here is that at least with MW5, Workshop/mods can fix most of those things.
All system nominal..
This is bad. Procedurally-generated slop, a terrible mechlab interface, and a game with horrible world-building compared to the masterpiece that came before it (MW4M). I've only heard good things about the DLC... but the base game is complete trash. There is little redeeming about this game unless you mod it to compensate - the models are pretty detailed, and the feel of mech piloting is rather nice, but everything else about the experience just kinda ruins it for me. Go download MechWarrior 4 for free, or even try out MechWarrior Online, for the money I just can't stand by this product.
Did I strap 11 Small Heavy lasers to a Firemoth and drive by backshot an atlas at 324kph? Yes. Yes I did.
