Mecha Ace

This is simply amazing. Now, that's one of my favorite IF game.

If you want to feel the brute power of a giant battlesuit fighting epic battles in space and like interactive novels, then get it.

[h1] Short Version [/h1] A good choice and effect system, expertly done romance and riveting written action make this game into a must-have for all genre fans and mecha lovers. [h1] Full Review [/h1] Do you want to strap up and blast opposing mecha's and capital ships with your plasma sniper rifle? Or would you rather slice through enemy fleets with your giant mecha's sword? But maybe you are not the hands on type and would rather like to direct the battle like the great tacticians of old? All of this you can do. Stats and choices really make a difference on how the battles plays out. I have tried all those approaches and many more. They were all viable and did play out very differently. But the best part was not the combat, it was the romance. In Mecha Ace it feels like romance evolves organically. The partners chose you, instead of you just picking them up along the way. The only thing, which I didn’t like, was the length. It’s way too short, or it feels that way, because it’s so good. This game is a treat and more than worth the small asking prize. From 20 choice of games I have played so far Mecha Ace is one of the best and my personal favourite. I recommend this game to everyone, who like action novels or the mecha genre in general.

One of the best Choice of games you can find, lot's of replayability and very cool RO, especially a certain rival one. It's a stand alone but i wouldn't mind a sequel in the future, even if the endigs are really good and work as conclusive!

Completed a play through in under three hours. Story and writing are not good enough to make me interested in trying any of the other options for a play through. You like written stories with mecha and forgettable characters in them? I think there's a plot also. Meh. Getting a thumbs down because it isn't worth $5.99 US. Buy it on sale, or with money you were going to throw away anyway.

Must have for mecha lovers who like to read. Best five bucks I ever spent.
