Poor controls, no hit stick, error saving file, can't change controller keybinds, game didn't recognize controller, can't snap the ball after audible in the hurry up It has some merits but not enough to outweigh the bad Can someone make a decent ****ing football game please? Also **** EA
Had a custom league that took ages to set up, last couple of updates completely destroyed hours and work. Don't buy this game unless you like to be screwed over by devs.
nothing like the game when it first came out.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.

I saw that this game had mostly negative, but I strongly disagree with that. Sure it may not be as polished as EA's games but I'd rather play a free game then spend $70 on a game that is only slightly better. If you like football games, this one's definitely worth a shot. It's genuinely FUN.
Since the Big Update, I cannot play in solo anymore, the Update deleted my team (fanchise ?), did not give me back an ticket (that is needed to play solo), so i cannot play anymore for free, because the two solo modes are behind an paywall (20$ each).
This game, which opened with hope, has become ruined with so-called "updates" which destroyed its playability. Ball-carriers unexplainably run in slow-motion. Pass plays inexplicably become run plays. There's no way for users to adjust the gameplay in any real sense. The game is barely playable at all. Did you create your own team? Now it's gone, lost in ether. Maximum Football has been rendered almost useless.
This new update has killed the game if you wish to do offline exhibition play with custom teams. Please stay away for the time being
Wanted to love it so bad but the franchise mode is bug ridden and it runs horribly on steamdeck.. gameplay and franchise should have been priority over ultimate team. Legitimately i was ready to buy the full franchise for $20
Ouch. Had the potential to be maddens competitors, but instead they want to be maddens copycat.
uniforms can glitch, tutorials are bad, gameplay is not horrable though. will keep playing cause cant afford madden.
