Sadly, I love Max Payne 1, it's one of the best retro shooters, but I seriously cannot get this game to start up without crashing This game has very old code which causes the code to be unplayable on windows 11 The only reason I bought this is cuz it comes with Max Payne 2, and 2 runs fine for me If you're on windows 10 or 11 then maybe don't buy Max Payne 1 cuz it doesn't work I played Max Payne 1 on an older device and it's one of my favourite games The actual game is a 9.5/10 but please remedy at least fix or remake this game cuz it's unplayable on pc
A fun but extremely challenging game. Keep your finger on the F5 key, you'll be using it often.

Loved Max Payne 1 this is the original masterpiece on PC that had you looking at the visuals like wow back in the day. Still play it today on Steam its fun. Would recommend.

A great old game full of action and gun play.
The game that started Remedy. Max Payne is a great game with a good story, and Max’s inner monologue gives it so much personality, even if it isn’t as deep as the sequel. The gameplay is still fantastic, and diving through the air in slow motion while lining up a shot never gets old.

Great, no-nonsense third-person shooting game. This feels like what a boomer shooter would be if you translated it into third-person. Everything from the level design to the expansive weapon roster and the punishing enemies feels ripped out of an id Software game. Even on the easiest difficulty, there are some serious skill checks. Accuracy is key, Max goes down in just a few hits, and likewise, so do his enemies.
