Honestly if you want a game that gets straight to the point with characters, mysteries and the overarching plot this game isn't for you! As a fan of danganronpa, hundred line and 999 zero escape this game kinda annoyed me. I just kept sighing. Every character just kinda annoyed me, and I disliked the mc. The game was kinda blurry and low quality looking. I tried playing around with the graphic settings but I still couldn't get the quality I expected. For those looking for mystery solving games just get AI Somnium files (another game I bought recently) I can compliment the voice acting and character designs, the art direction too. It just didn't click to me, it's not my type of game.
My first intro into the Dangaronpa adjacent universe. I was genuinely surprised by how the opening played out and as each mystery played out, I was on edge the entire time thinking "who will be next" because it felt no one was safe. The game surprisingly has a ton of references to many pieces of media and some may be missed if the player does no exploring, such as the Jurassic Park reference. There are also a few 4th wall breaks which is a nice touch to ease tension. The atmosphere is really gloomy the entire time, but completely turns dark when chapter 5 hits. I enjoyed the city and it's lore, especially when things slowly unravel. Alot of the mysteries I think are well done with a few minor inconsistencies that throw logic out the window. Each mystery isn't really easy to figure out right away and it's pretty fun to form your initial conclusion prior to entering the labyrinth to see how close you were. My favorite mystery was in Chapter 2 with the school murder case. I was able to somewhat sympathize with the characters on this one and I think was probably the most relatable, realistic and grounded case. None of the game is really punishing, and any failure, the quicksave puts you right back into the game. Some of the downsides, the puzzles and clues seemed a bit vague and weren't easy to deduce a conclusion during the battle sequences. Especially when they draw alot from the players own memory, were you paying attention? The QTE's at times were really quick and doesn't allow the player to read or comprehend the sentence on the screen before failing the QTE. The barrel mini-game puts you on a time limit that reduces your time for guessing wrong on a random arbitrary word that is related to the case. The final boss fight was unnecessarily long. It was about 2 hours of rehashing everything you did in the chapter when it could've dropped 80% of the dialogue. It was tedious. Out of all the characters, I think Shinigami was one of the best. She was comedic relief and a great companion. I was also glad that my favorite characters weren't offed! I'd love to see a second game, I think it could really work and I'd like to see further expansion to the characters relationships. The game had a satisfying ending and the epilogue was a nice closure but left SO MUCH open to a sequel. A sequel could maybe involve the Red Rain Cult since the game didn't expand into them a whole lot outside a side brief encounter.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is and extremely fun game! I literally have 60+ hours and have only had it for about a week, I recommend it if you love the Danganronpa series! My favorite chapters so far are 1 & 2!
