Assemble your team of legendary Marvel characters in the ultimate 4v4 tag team fighter.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Latest in each market: best JP #61, worst US #97 · 2 markets collected

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 6: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Getting CPU bottlenecked when my system could run anything else I threw at it (such as Cyberpunk 2077 at med-high settings) is insanity. No other fighting game has given me issues like this, especially not an ArcSys title. Very disappointing.
Bots are janky as Hell and some character matchups are ass. Overall it's an OK fighting game.
If this is supposed to be what we can expect instead of a new Marvel VS Capcom title, I am not impressed. Frankly pathetic roster, optimization issues STILL at launch, forced PSN for online play, game mechanics that differ too far from traditional tag fighters, and basically no hope for serious expansion potential. ARC SYS dropped the ball hard. This may sound like straight up boomer cope, but Marvel had a good thing going with the MVC franchise and this just is not going to compare favorably. I absolutely adore MVC3. I loved MVC2. I can tolerate MVCI. This just doesn't stack up when put against what it 100% is supposed to be replacing. Rather than letting Capcom attempt to redeem themselves after the total flop that was MVCI, we get what is arguably the most lack luster title of 2026. A roster of 20 characters at launch with most of them having only one outfit and alternate outfits being locked behind massive day one paywalls is disgraceful. Even Street Fighter 6 dropped with at least two outfits for every character and that was in the BASE version of the game. ARC SYS can totally do a good job with fighting games, but in their effort to be super faithful to the source material, they failed to consider that mechanics matter deeply and if you change too much from what you're replacing, you will fail to be worth the time. They tried something new here, a 4v4 instead of 3v3. That wouldn't be too bad at face value. They made it so it's a persistent health bar. Not a good move in my opinion but forgivable. They completely changed how tag ins work from basically every other tag fighter. It's a death of a thousand cuts with Tokon. I really want to love this game but everything Sony and ARC SYS have done here makes it nearly impossible. When even Invincible VS knows better than to change basically everything mechanically from the origins of the sub-genre you're making a game for, that's not a good sign for your game's future. Am I saying Tokon is doomed? Oh absolutely. not breaking 25,000 players AT LAUNCH is horrible and when the community was already pissed off before launch about the PSN and EAC, that's basically ensuring the game isn't going to have much of a future. I would bet there's some very minor hype for new characters and that basically everyone is going to just go back to MVC3U. Tokon had potential. ARC SYS knew what they were doing. They did this all anyways. I do not understand. I am not happy. If like me, you didn't play the betas to avoid getting spoiled and love MVC, this will probably disappoint heavily.
chracter depth is amazing, each character feels unique. design and graphics are also done really well. few things they can change is it more single player modes to help players learn the game. i suck so maybe thats why id enjoy more modes hahahah
Story mode is kind of bad but the battle mode is really good once you learn the controls. Only negative reviews are just mostly linux players complaining that not all games are on their device instead of getting windows.
Fun game, works fine for me.
Fun game, pretty hard to learn but definitely worth learning
