Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.

Congrats to ArcSys for yet another phenomenal fighting game. They really did an incredible job, especially considering the burning dumpster they were forced by Sony to place this gem into. Shame on Sony for forcing ArcSys to implement all of these unnecessary and unhelpful anti-consumer tools. EAC (useless), Sony SDKs (eating CPU cycles w/o adding value), no Linux support (just a money loss WHY), and the PSN account link requirement (disgusting and more money loss WHY) are slaps in the face, plain and simple, plus Sony will make less money. The decision makers are somehow both anti-consumer AND losing Sony money by purposefully turning down paying customers. Sony, you are all morons. Color me impressed.
So im about at 50 hours and ive come to a decision about this game finally. If you are trying to learn Tag Fighters, this game isnt for you. I myself am new to tag fighters, Most of my 50 hours has been offline play. Ive learned combos and most defensive mechanics and did the combo lessons and tutorials for the team that i picked. Eventually you get to the point where Easy and Normal AI just isnt challenging anymore, and ive heard most people say that fighting hard and champion AI can help you learn how to block and just "prepare" you for online play. If your a beginner like me this isnt a good idea imo. The AI on Hard are relentless and allow you to learn nothing but punishment and the constant thought of what am i doing wrong without giving you a moment to breath and think what you need to do. It confirms off all hits it makes on you, if you happen to block all of the attacks it proceeds to throw spam you, and for some reason in this game its very hard to tell when a throw is coming, much less break out of it. Im pretty sure at this AI level it just reads all your inputs, even if you mash on wakeup it will counter you every time, even if you wake up with the fastest frame move it will some how still have its turn to attack even after knocking you down. I can take losing all day, but when im not learning anything and its just a beat down, from an AI, it makes the game not fun to learn at all and it really makes online play not attractive either imo for a beginner. Trying to do block strings on this level of AI seems impossible for a beginner because it just reads all your movements. For someone whos trying to learn the game and not just use auto combos its just not fun.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 6: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

The fact this game uses PSN, and the refusal of enabling Linux for the Easy Anti-cheat, was bad enough. But then the poor performance in online matches and overall made me refund this game.
Sony
I don't know, I guess I am in the minority here, but this game runs perfectly fine on my 3 year old laptop. Operating System: Windows 11 CPU Brand: AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS with Radeon Graphics RAM: 15 GB Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU Primary VRAM: 6 GB ....anyway lol. Really love this one. I can't tell you how long I've been waiting to use Green Goblin in a fighting game. Okay, I actually can tell you. 26 years. I have been waiting 26 years to use this character in a fighting game. Arcsys does what they do best, and gave each character a incredible design. They all look great, and their roster picks are fantastic. I am praying this game goes the distance and the roster stacks up. If I see Beast, Sabretooth, or Rocket Racoon in here, I am going to be a very happy gamer. On first inspection, this game seems way too simple, but it didn't take but a moment to realize there is a lot of character depth in these movesets, with setups that are crazy easy, to insanely hard to pull off. Some of these movesets are hyper specific to what you can do and when, which I really love. There is ease of use for a casual, and there is plenty to lab really hard on if you want to master a character, which again is fantastic. The sound design is great. Not all the music tracks hit home, but the ones that do really stand out. Storm and Black Panther have some real good tracks. Love the voice casting, and not only that, but lol, I decided to go into the options and listen to some of the other languages, and they are great too, and there are a lot of them. Performance... Well, this is awkward, because for me the game runs smooth. The attacks come out as I want them, the tags, no issues on my rig, hence the 8 hours played on release. The lobby system is cool. I dig it. There are a few modes to dig into. I wish there were more. The Cons are, Sony. I don't care for, or wish to have them running along side my PC game. I am not a fan of consoles for many reasons. Hilarious that they are putting their crap on PC games, removing physical media in the near future. I get it Sony, you want to be PC so bad, but you're not, you're just getting in it's way, and I mean that from the very bottom of my heart. If their involvement was not here, I think this launch would have been very smooth, but here we are, it's apparently hurting a lot of players from enjoying the game. I just pray that a game this fun does not suffer the same fate as UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II. That game was dead on arrival just because PC player were salty they had to wait one single week for a fix to roll out, so I can imagine it's VERY possible, especially given how touchy and critical the FGC has become over the last decade.
Marvel Tokon is a fantastic fighting game that I really enjoy overall. However, I cannot recommend it on PC in its current state, even after the first post-launch patch aimed at addressing several performance issues. I’ve been playing fighting games for well over a decade, so I’m usually confident in separating my own mistakes from performance problems. Yet the issues on PC while learning a new game make it hard to know whether a dropped combo or lost trade came down to software performance, network issues, or simply my own execution. That kind of uncertainty in the middle of a match takes away from the competitive experience and joy that otherwise comes from the moment to moment gameplay that fighting games can provide. When compared to other major fighting games currently available, including ArcSys own products, it’s difficult to recommend Marvel Token at this time when smoother experiences are available elsewhere on PC.
I cannot matchmake and all games i play in custom rooms are unplayable. do not buy this game yet.
solid game but has issues such as mandatory psn login and terrible performance despite the fact i believe i am over recommended specs, trying to run the game on medium settings provides me as low as 30 fps sometimes.
The game itself is good, but as you can see from my negative review, that's not enough to save it from the state that the game is currently in for PC players. With my hardware, I was not one of the players heavily affected by the poor PC optimization at launch, at least on single player or local modes. Obviously with the nature of the rollback netcode and how fighting games work, the online was not good because other players were having performance issues. PS5 players I matched with via crossplay, I had no issue with. ARC SYSTEM WORKS released a patch a few days ago from the time of writing to address the poor state of the PC build, improving performance across the board. Everyone's consensus is... yes, it has improved performance for PC players all around, but the damage is done. Many PS5 players turned off crossplay, so matchmaking takes longer. The hype for the game that was there in that first week dissipated so quickly because of their inability to ensure this had a proper release. For me, actually, I have been experiencing crashes related to the shaders in the game after the patch. Even in just trying to play the game's survival mode, a fun concept where you fight teams of 4 followed by a boss and then gain passive abilities to keep going, I crashed probably eight times. I got to Round 17, and I lost, and I said I'm done. If my friends want to play it, sure, we'll play it on Parsec via my account! It's a good time. I am unlikely to fund the game further as Sony has made their stance very clear. This should've been a home run and instead I generally regret buying this game before it inevitably goes on sale for the upcoming holiday season. Also, this is not an endorsement to do anything illegal, but users are reporting that the cracked versions of the game are running with much better performance on builds below the minimum recommended specs. So all of this was Sony's fault for wanting to push the PSN logins and probably generally make the game fail so their marketing data shows that the PC version was not as profitable compared to the PlayStation version. It makes sense that they'd favor that, their players are paying for every month of service to play online. All this to say, TLDR, Sony sucks, game cool, game plagued with issues, Deadpool's Japanese VA is DIO (positive), and I regret my purchase generally.
