Marko: Beyond Brave is made by a solo dev who's working hard daily on fixing the bugs that happend on first day of release. The game feels so much smoother and much playability now than before. If you had quit this game earlier, now is the time to get back to it. Bulgarian inspired metroidvania game with lots of fun abilities to use against your enemies, platforming sections will require you to fully focus but not that difficult and manageable to anyone. The sountracks of boss fights and stages were nice to listen to while gaming. If you haven't picked up this one yet, I recommend you do so. Overall Rating 8/10

Got to the tutorial boss and no thanks if that's representative of the rest of the game. Attacks have no telegraph and apparently the only option to avoid its attacks is to perfectly time a jump. The sword attack will frequently input drop the second attack in the combo - it feels like I have to wait a fraction of a second after the first attack or the second one simply won't register. Chaining pogo attacks also doesn't seem to work - I'm not sure if this is intentional. By the third pogo the input gets dropped and Marko falls on the enemy for some contact damage. This would be reasonable if intentional to avoid Hollow Knight-style infinite pogo cheese, but the input dropping just feels bad the way it's currently playing. There are also enemies even in the tutorial section that are extremely annoying to fight on the ground and seem to incentivize pogoing, but then that doesn't work either. Also some minor UI issues: WASD doesn't work for menu screen navigation even though my movement is set to WASD. Tutorial only shows controller keybinds for abilities; there should be a way to make it display KBM. You can't change keybinds from the main menu, which I assume is an oversight but made me think that rebinding wouldn't be an option at all.

Pretty cool game. Gameplay is very similar to and inspired by Hollow Knight. Combat and bosses are enjoyable. For me the best part is the Bulgarian/slavic folklore and the soundtrack. Overall really enjoyed the game.

The atmosphere of the game is beautiful. The game itself is very funny and took time to find the specific items to unlock the next stages. The story of the game is based on balkans origins. I played the game with gamepad and the expiriance was great. Thank You!
