Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 14 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Magical Diary is a classic scheduling/dating life sim with Wolf Hall as its sequel where you play a male character who's already used to the magical world. I feel like playing Wolf Hall made me appreciate more of the story line in the first one just because of the additional context the MC's perspective provides. In terms of gameplay, it's still very easygoing and casual compared to other scheduling sims; the visuals and UI are also improved. The personality system feels more subtle, but still has an impact on relationships and paths (ex. the most cost-effective way to become class president is if you have a primarily flirty personality). I did wish that the exams allowed for more creative applications of spells because once you get to 30 Blue Magic & 20 White Magic (plus a blue charm) why bother learning other spells? Black (lowkey pointless in dungeons) and Red magic (Potsdam gives more merits if you take non-violent approaches) are largely underutilized and only come up when characters check to see if you know certain spells (Spark, Seal, etc). But then again, it's primarily a dating sim. The storylines themselves are fun and easy to pursue. That being said it's hilarious how in Horse Hall the female MC feels like she's fighting for her life at every turn (auto-demerits from Grabiner, William sees her as a little sister, too beta to run for president, can easily fall for Damien) and meanwhile chad Gary Stu is just strolling on through (knows Grabiner, can date William, can run for president, trick Damien). I do hope that someday we'll get another game, perhaps set in the following year.
