8/10 Good way to experience Magic. Just started playing Magic for a few weeks and this has been a great way to see a variety of cards and explore mechanics. As a free player nothing seems to egregious for the type of matches I prefer. I'm not much of a standard player but I seem to be able to farm enough gold to participate in drafts which is my preference. Now if we could only get commander on here...
Lamentablemente para los pokemon y yugioh enjoyers... el mejor tcg de todos los tiempos.

Love Magic, played since 93, happy to have found Arena to keep playing. But the servers are absolute garbage.
i would like to learn one day but i cant even get past the tutorial boss
With over 1,000 hours in this game over the last 5 or so years i can honestly say that playing this was the worst experience playing magic. This last year was a real stretch for me and now with the power crept hobbit set, I, as a free player have to claw upwards 10 or so mythic cards at a time. I have pulled my decks from edhrec now because of the FIRE card design philosophy of these new sets. Whales can dump enough money to get what they need and just stomp people even if you were running strategies that fit within your desired bracket level. I cannot tell you the amount of times where when im in matchmaking and i get paired to a counter archetype. Even down to the colors. Even down to their equipment. Like whatever swords variant they are running that perfectly fits my colors when im running a dual or mono colored deck. It even goes down to the lands im running. I run 42 lands and draw starting hands with 2 lands in them. I mulligan and it gets worse and only improves when i have to ditch 2 or so cards. Winning doesn't even feel good because when im winning i can identify what mechanism of the system im winning by. every game goes like this. The system basically chooses which of you gets to be a toddler to someones Mike Tyson before the game ever even starts. ESPECIALLY ON BRAWL. If you really want to play magic, play mtgo or get a library card and start printing proxies. Find a pod that is cool with proxies. There, F2P magic solved. *Library may charge 5-10 cents per sheet of photocopy paper
Have you ever turned $40 into $0.50 at your local game store? Well now you can turn it into $0 and your friends will laugh at you even more
Its MTG, if you like it on paper its also good online. Only downside is its still pay to win, You either have to grind a ton or pay for the cards just like on paper.
Mixed due to uncalled for hatred of crossovers lol
MTG Arena is a great way to get into Magic. Highly recommend if you're looking to dip your toes in without buying anything first.
