God I love magic I love mtg I love playing with my friends in person, I love building decks and challenging people at the local game store. I hate arena, I play this game only when I haven’t been able to play in person in weeks, then I remember why I hate it, the pay to win aspect sucks horrendously. I meet the same meta following decks non stop, it’s a pain to build on it, if you want to draft be prepared to grind for weeks or shill out cash. God arena is everything wrong with mtg.

Really fun, but still janky. This game really is fun. Better than paper magic, you can just grind away at your daily games to earn gold and build the deck you really want. Obviously some people just pay the pay wall and try and win. Which is fine. It’s still the same game I’ve loved as a kid, and expensive deck can just outright lose to cheap aggro. Anyway, it’s fun. If you got kids and a family and don’t have time for FNM anymore then this will hit the spot.

Freezes in color challenges Game hangs mid battle but you can click things. Opponent in color challenges never complete their turns. Have to concede or close out app and restart. Very frustrating.

Can’t even make a account I new to magic and I thought downloading the app would help me catch up to my friends with learning the game and all but they won’t even let me make a account. No matter how much I put in my email it keeps telling me that it not valid. Please fix that if there a problem with that.

Booty game This game sucks and it’s a disgrace to mtg and its a micro transaction money grab and it’s booty

Nice game Started playing due to a friend, instantly hooked. A little more complicated than Pokémon, still not bad. Also pretty nice that reward gives you actual up to date cards with no purchases necessary

Likely the best card game of its type It’s inherently a pay to win game with established cards. Most people look up a deck made by someone else and copy it. So, your deck you made on your own with your small collection is going to get CRUSHED. But, the game itself is well made and well balanced. They’ve been making this game for about 30 years ( cards and card mechanics). When you start they will throw a LOT of cards at you which is nice. But, there are like 30,000 cards with a lot of killer combinations combing things from different sets. So, them giving you a couple hundred cards doesn’t matter a ton. If having to look up decks made by experts to build those sounds like fun to you, this will be great.

A money Grab. 0/10 If you wish to play magic, stick to in person. Unfortunately, this game does not use a random number regenerator at all for card draw. It is a manipulated game and is not a true traditional shuffle and play game. This makes the game integrity very questionable. Players are constantly bombarded with payments prompts, and that doesn’t even start with the gameplay. One of the worst renditions of a card game we have ever reviewed. We can not recommend this game. 0/10

Are we serious Come on wizards sometimes I feel like this game isn’t even fun no more. Let me finish the game and then you just let me draw nothing. It happens in real life but in this game it happens way too much. I’m starting to not like the game no more and I play arena because I want to enjoy a game while on break and this happens. Now that I wrote a review it’s like yall keep coming at me I just want to play fairly but come on man.
