Two years ago, the young Japanese inventor Hayao Maelström came to France and settled in a quiet countryside. One day, he suddenly received an invitation personally signed by Nikola Tesla, inviting him to attend the once-in-a-decade scientific gathering at the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Hayao set off for Paris full of anticipation, but during Tesla's opening speech, the venue suddenly plunged into darkness. When the lights came back on—Tesla mysteriously vanished in plain sight!

While the police launched a comprehensive investigation, Hayao and his clever dog Alpina resolutely set out on their own quest for the truth. Determined to uncover the truth behind this bizarre disappearance case.
