Great game, I unlocked every achievement for it and had fun finding every location of the statue! Overall Gameplay is solid, though some puzzles will leave you confused at first... But that's what gameplay videos are for. The Ai of the Monsters gave me a startle, especially Hans's. Graphics are great and the game is really well optimized! All I have to say is.. you're a MAD SON.

Classic horror walking simulator with clues/puzzles and creepy things. The particular flavor of this one is that you're stuck inside a creepy house. This game is heavy on the horror with a moderate amount of gore, although the game generally doesn't actively show the violence that caused the gore. There were plenty of jumpscares, and most of them were well timed and felt like they added to the game. I'm a horror veteran who doesn't get scared or shaken easily, and the tension plus jumpscares had me tensed up and yelling a few times. Puzzles were generally good quality, but I had to look up solutions quite a few times to figure out what the next step was after solving a puzzle, because the game would frequently just shift some object somewhere in the area without any clues or hints that something had changed, so you frequently end up just wandering around aimlessly. I got tired of this approach and just looked up the walkthrough if I was stuck for more than 5 minutes. I wish there was a more seamless method of transitioning from puzzle to puzzle rather than just "wander around and try to find the small object that changed." The storyline was simple but interesting with an open ending. There weren't any plot twists to the rather classic demonic creature plotline, so you're not going to have your mind blown. There's apparently a DLC coming that may provide some closure for the open ending. I do like that there was a subplot about a secondary monster, and I felt like they could have leaned into that a bit more since it really added to the story. Overall, I'd definitely recommend to horror fans. If you're scared easily, maybe warm up with a different game first. The puzzles may be frustrating at times, so just have a walkthrough handy if you felt like you've been stumped for too long. I'm looking forward to what this developer has in store next.

Le jeu ne cherche pas à multiplier les jumpscares gratuits, mais préfère installer une angoisse constante, presque sourde, qui ne vous lâche jamais. L’ambiance est glaçante, le sound design exceptionnel et chaque énigme participe à renforcer le malaise plutôt qu’à le briser. La mise en scène est extrêmement maîtrisée : les lieux racontent une histoire, les silences sont lourds de sens et la narration environnementale est brillante. On sent une vraie inspiration des grands noms de l’horreur psychologique, tout en conservant une identité propre. Certaines séquences marquent durablement et restent en tête bien après avoir éteint le jeu. Un jeu qui respecte l’intelligence du joueur, qui ose prendre son temps et qui prouve que l’horreur fonctionne encore mieux quand elle suggère plus qu’elle ne montre. Une très grande réussite pour les amateurs d’horreur psychologique exigeante.
