I remember being impressed by MADiSON, the opening hour particularly effective with the creepy house and its ambience. It being puzzle-heavy suited my playstyle as well, but as the game progressed, some sequences became a drag—mostly the maze sections felt downright tedious, and they weren’t helped by the snail’s pace of walking. I won’t say that all the jump scares worked on me either, as when it comes to horror I much prefer the atmosphere to do the work. That said, the final stretch brought things back around. While some of it was still frustrating, the escalating tension and actually being able to die (and I did) made for a strong finish. Overall it was fairly average title inspired by PT, but I'll give it its credit that, while influenced, it carved out its own identity rather than going the carbon copy route.

Game is made by sheep banging monkeys, and supervised by clowns. Who the ♥♥♥♥ made the elevator scene to be the most convulated pos ive ever seen in 20k hours of video games. My god this developer needs to be flipping burgers at the nearest mcdonalds asap.
Madison is a well executed horror game that reminds me a bit of less clunky ( control wise) Visage. This is best a compliment and an insult in that the atmosphere is great and the story is involving but it so far also has the annoying aspect of visage where your most likely either walking in circles in a creepy house or you’re opening up a walkthrough at a certain point because the game is a bit opaque. That being said, so far I’m liking the game a lot and finding it disturbing I did find the end of the game really annoying with several puzzles that dragged on and on and a lot of pointless jump scares. In particular the part with “blue knees” was like from another game, like a mascot horror combined with a David Firth cartoon.
