Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Sep 4 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The best bad, janky, terribly paced game I've ever thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.
игра нормас но наначи тискать нельзя это главный минус
Short version: 8/10! Played this game blindly as in, only heard about the anime but never dived in until starting this game. The price is a bit steep, I brought it on sale roughly round $10 and definitely gotten my moneys worth. Worked wonderfully on the steam deck and with an controller. Achievement wise was a good mix of story related, secret missions, and couple of grind ones. As much as I dont like saying this, if you like Zelda Botw/totk you will find some enjoyment; especially if you wanted those games to be harder. Longish version: Warning there will some spoilers mention now Like I mention above I walked in this series blindly, but the world building is amazing. I highly recommend watching the first season of the anime and if you enjoy it at least the movie both the second season. However, keep in mind this series' main characters are children, there's a bit of gore, and some questionable things; like dont play/watch this with the family. That said gamewise those parts are heavily water down thankfully and there's no nudity which seems to be a big question people like to ask before playing. Also the author of the manga/anime played a big role in making of this game and alot of the characters are voiced by the same people from the show, which is incredible cool compare to other anime/jrpgs that dont keep that level of immersion. When starting the game there is two modes start with "Hello Abyss ", that's obs the tutorial and intro to this stories world. Keep in mind its under few hours so the main plot is basically cliff noted and its not for the players to explore quite yet. However the "Deep in Abyss" is where the real fun is, since here is when the exploring, survive, inventory management, and crafting systems open up here. Storywise, we get to explore all the way before the six layer, while doing an amazing of incorporating our players own story with the already created characters/Npcs that we see Riko interacted with before we do. Within each layer there are little areas the players can explore, each with their own theme and some with their own songs. A huge plus about this game is that no area looks the same, and its clear its because the Author was present on the design. Even the weapons and relics you see are included with the original story. Plus there's so many little details that add to the continuously world building, for example the item the player uses to save is a balloon that floats back up to the surface that suppose to contain tiny amounts of information about the cave divers journey. Now there's usually deflated ones laying around that we the players pick up and reuse, which is so cool to think about and that's not all if the player is in something like a cave where we cant see the sky guess what the player cant save there until they find an opening. Its there little details/easter eggs that make exploring in this game so rewarding. Also the visionals are pretty, especially coming from a not anime AAA type of gaming studio while still leaving some imagination. Combat wise its nothing crazy just a generic slash/hit the enemy type of deal. However one of the biggest issues with this game is the amount of harassment creatures that spawn in. As someone who didn't use the mod, there was plenty of times in layer 2 and 3 that made me wanna quit. So I would recommend using the mod once you notice you are getting overly flustered; apparently it doesn't disable steam achievements. This is also kinda why I recommend watching the anime, since it shows us how difficult and dangerous the abyss is supposed to feel. Something else that is a con about this game is, that we will get a character to follow around with us on a few missions, but once those missions are done we dont get to ask them to join us again, and the support characters have only 3 lines and these lines repeat back to back, luckily there is an option in the setting to turn them off but its a bit disappointing since these lines dont add anything. Another -1 is the fast time imo, while being base off which whistle the player has earned, the player can only travel to the beginning of the previous layers and doesn't have the ability to fast travel to specific areas/stages. Also once the player has completed the last story mission, we are made to create a "clear save" which is just giving us the ability to continue playing after we are a whistle but before we go down, whenever the players goes back up and the white whistle is clearly shown on our player profile, no npcs make any comments about like they did before with all the other promotions. There is also a translation error in the skills tab, it says its to make the player be able to quickly pick up herbs/skin faster that's not what it does it's basically makes it where the player gets two items vs the 1. Since This review is getting a bit long and wild Ill end it here. Hopefully in a few years we get a sequel.

In this game you can... - Make a child and make them suffer the worst life imaginable - Mine for funny rocks, random bricks, tablets and a stone that has the same texture and feeling of a literal b00b - Die - Get a beautiful sight of the big hole that is the abyss... just to get spontaneously jumped by a random weasel - Try to kill a weasel, just to get jumped and stun-locked by their family and friends - Fish calmly... until a weasel appears out of the freaking nowhere and tries to beat your ass - Fight ungodly eldritch abominations, and die to them - Grief over the fact that you ran out of food - Blame Reg for your death for the 80921803410983410913409498th time - Try to climb back up just for a poorly made game mechanic that makes you stop, while getting your ass jumped by the local bugs in the area - Get your ass jumped by some random hobos who want ez money - Feel the inmeassurable pain of trying to make your way up after going down, especially if you have no weapons, no food, no salt, no bands, no b1tch3s, no reasons to be alive, having your arm, leg, p3n1s broken, are poisoned with every sickness in the abyss, while your bag being overloaded because you fill it with random garbage you planned to gift to you favorite hoe 10/10 game, id rather walk my cities main street wearing female lingerie than to play this game again(btw im a guy)
This one is a bit tricky. Overall i would say my experience was positive due to the fact that i loved the anime. There are 2 main game modes, one that follows the anime, named Hello Abyss that follows the anime up to the start of episode 9 just before they enter the 3rd layer, and one named Deep in Abyss. You are going to spend most of your time in this one as it follows another diver on their quest to conquer the abyss. It took me about 24 hours to get all the achievements, skipping about half the guild missions (those are very repetitive) and some side quests. Yes this game is a bit repetitive, you will see the same enemies just recolored and the combat is not the best and until you get your blue or moon whistle and some more upgrades climbing and moving from place to place will be a bit tedious. But it manages to give you a better view in the world of Made in Abyss, as the game was made with the original story writers participating during development, it gives you a more detailed view in the layers and world that the 1st season shows us and has some decent world building. Overall i would recommend this game only on sale for less than 15€/$, it is not a perfect game but if you enjoyed the 1st season of the anime and wish to know a bit more of the world of Made in Abyss then it might scratch that itch. PS this game has horrible keyboard controls so please use a controller if you can!!
