Mad Nords: Probably an Epic Quest

Rough around the edges but fun. Takes time to get used to what can be accomplished with the chosen stats. looking forward to seeing how the adventure progresses with a new character build.

Если вы не испугаетесь устаревшей графики в этой игре и проведёте в ней хотя бы пару часов, то получите много приятных эмоций. Я не любитель RPG, но несмотря на это с интересом прошёл сюжетную часть и все второстепенные квесты. Почитав обсуждения, удивился, что разработчик активно отвечал на вопросы игроков и вносил исправления в игру. Видно, что игру делали с душой, поэтому рекомендую вам как минимум познакомиться с ней, ну а если зацепит, то узнать чем заканчивается местная история.

Mad Nords: Probably an Epic Quest is a great and very funny old-school RPG. The best part of the game is its unusual (and delightfully absurd) humor, which keeps the adventure entertaining from start to finish. The graphics lean toward the grotesque, which may not be to everyone's taste, but the music and sound effects perfectly complement the nostalgic PC gaming style. If you're looking for an exciting cucumber-gathering, doomsday-cult-slaying adventure, this is definitely worth a try!

Це одна з кращих рпг, які я грав. Неймовірно цікаво прописані діалоги, купа чудових відсилок. Я отримав максимум задоволення і дуже хотів би зіграти в продовження, саме тому дуже сумно, що команда розробників розпалась. Якщо би в команди було би більше бюджети, то вони могли б створити справжній шедевр, бо це дійсно гра, яка зроблена з душею. Вона не багато коштує і якщо ви любите цікаві історії, то точно рекоменду)

Лайк за українську гру. Колись давно купив її, та щось не зайшла. Тепер думаю дати їй другий шанс

Fun game, easy to play casually since you only need a mouse most of the time, except when you need to open the inventory. Some dark humour there, didn't have many issues with mechanics after I figured it out. Scratches that RPG itch without you having to get too into it, go through frustrating rounds of leveling up, and so on. But I'm more writting a review to warn about... a bug? Not entirely sure what happened. I'll try not to spoil things too much, but if you care about it better not read bellow this line. Thing is, I basically finished the main quest right before ending the 1st act... perhaps that's why the game went a bit wonky. Sure was a bit weird... I explored the entire map and got an item that when you get the quest to start the 2nd act, I talked to the wife, she immediately jumped to a dialogue that she was dying, I used the potion and saved her life right there. :P Ending sequence, then the game comes back and tells you that the main quest is done, that you can keep playing if you want to. So I did. I'm not even sure how many acts the game has, but I was about to finish the 2nd when the issue happened. Continued playing because the game is just fun, but then after doing several jobs inside the Castle, killed the dragon, saved the wizard, but then I return to the King and no dice. The wizard remains in the lowest floor of the tower, and the King keeps asking to bring him in. Only line of dialogue that I had with him is that something something the cult is destroyed, you deserve a rest, you too, and he never leaves the floor. It kinda sounds like an ending of it's own - perhaps it is. Not sure what to do. I also couldn't use Steam Overlay to capture things... perhaps this is more because I'm on Linux rather than being a game bug, dunno. In any case, well worth the price anyways.
