Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Aug 15 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is insanely addictive and is the most detailed Game Dev simulator I've played. I was really into Game Dev Tycoon when I was young and I wasn't able to find anything comparable until I found MGT2. It's brimming with content and options for thr player. Creating good games felt very difficult at first. I had to read discussion threads in order to find some sort of success in-game. But once you get to know how to train your employees and adjust sliders, it becomes very satisfying. Expanding your company is rewarding and the game has infinite replay value. I recommend this game if you're looking for a fun tycoon game.
Love it. Simple as that! It scratches all of those game making itches.

Nunca pensei que apenas lançar jogos de RPG ia me fazer comprar todas as empresas e apenas exitir RPG de jogos disponíveis no mundo.
Normally, I won't review a game after only 6 hours played, but this feels like an exception. I played a lot of Mad Games Tycoon 1 and got in with that one in the EA phase. For 2, I decided to wait until it was completely done to play it. In fact, I even waited until it had a pretty hefty sale to buy it. To my disappointment, this game is pretty much the same as 1. They added a few minor features and made some Quality of Life changes, but it's mostly the same game. And this is disappointing to me. I honestly don't think a sequel was needed at all. All these changes could have easily been a DLC for the original and that's what it should have been. So, this leads to a problem. As a game that exists by itself, this is an easy thumbs up. The original game was fun, this game is fun. As a sequel, it's a thumbs down because it's pretty much the same game as the original. So what do I give it? Certainly, if you've never played the Mad Games franchise before, this is the game to buy. As someone who has played 1, there's no reason to buy this unless you REALLY want remasters/GOTY/spin offs, because that's about all this one adds. After thinking about it for a while, I thought... am I going to play it past the six hours I've played it so far? Yes, chances are I will because it's still a good game. Therefore, it probably deserves a thumbs up. So, this is recommended with a _strong_ caveat that you probably shouldn't buy it if you own the original.
