Do not buy this game. Ok So I have played this game for over 8 hours. My first attempt took me around 4 as I went out of my way to explore, read, and interact with everything I could. The rest of my playthroughs were like a fraction of the time after I realized the text in the game barely changes regardless of the romance path you are on. Which is one of my major red flags and why I didn’t bother finishing all the romance routes. I have detailed notes/thoughts on what hurts the game and what helps the game. Just so you know, this is going to be a long post with a lot of strong opinions. It being EA does not change my approach to reviewing/providing feedback. I am not being nasty, I am giving honest feedback on how I feel about the game. There are a few spoilers, but I mark them. What Hurts the Game:

As I mentioned the story barely changes regardless of who you are romancing. All the group chats stay exactly the same. For a text based chat game this is not ok. Each playthrough should feel different. Like really different. The game is so repetitive the experiences you get from the different romances aren’t worth the literal slog through the group chats. Even with the ability to make them all instant.
The inability to explore each romance partner’s personality before having to commit to one of them. If you don’t start the game knowing who you already want to romance then get ready to waste your time and likely trigger the game’s failstate. There is literally next to no time to actually decide who you want beyond ONE day’s worth of chat.
The Failstate. You can spend hours in game, thinking you’re doing fine and progressing well, just to get hit with a failstate that forces you to reload or start over depending on who you want to romance and when they stopped messaging you. There is literally no warning or explanation this is happening. It just…happens. I cannot describe how furious I was to learn this at 4.6 hours of gameplay.
Having to make the exact right choices. Literally feels like you cannot deviate or get anything wrong. Like you HAVE to follow a guide to end up with who you want. It feels like there is no wiggle room or like you get punished for making the wrong choice a small number of times.
The email mini game. It is terrible. Terrible. The emails have no learnable logic to actually be able to correctly choose between spam/phising or something legitimate. On top of that there is a literal failure bar that sticks with you through the rest of the game. This is terrible design. The player has no way to truly know if they can navigate the emails right and they get permanently punished for it.
The other mini game I have a major issue with is the typing minigame. It is an inherently hostile design to anyone who has motor control conditions or executive function disorders. I say hostile because I mean hostile. A times typing test based on accuracy under pressure literally targets all the things both aforementioned groups struggle with. This is a massive accessibility issue as it makes this mini game inaccessible to whole groups of people.
The dialog choices are far and few in between and very limited. A lot of the choices are also so similar they might as well be the same exact choice. There is one personality to play and it is starry eyed and obnoxious. For a game that relies on the player being able to be a self insert or make a character they want to play this is extremely limiting. The player can only be one kind of Vtuber fan, one kind of character. There is no reason to not have more options. This is especially true if the goal is to reach a wide audience.
The romance characters don’t all have the same level of content. That i just unfair to prioritize some over others. It makes it look like some characters are prioritized less and sets a precedent that not all characters will be treated equally or get the same amount of content/attention.
What Helps the Game:

The Biscord chat legitimately feels like a real chat. It’s a fun format to read through. It’s also a really clever way to get to know the people in the story.
The romanceable characters have very different personalities that translate well in the chat setting. They are legitimately enjoyable to experience. They each feel unique and like a real person. Pochima is especially well written IMO.
The fact that it doesn’t force the player to actually do the irl time based pacing. That was the worst part of Mystic Messenger and I am so glad it is not how this game operates. The fact the player can move at whatever pace they want is great.
The chat options. I love that I can turn on or off the auto play as well as adjust the speed the chat moves at. This is such a good quality of life feature most games leave out.
The in chat keyword definitions. As someone not part of the Vtuber community it was a HUGE help to have the little highlighted words and names and such that had definitions/explanations.
The player gets to keep the unlocks across the saves. This is so nice. I really like having the pictures and stickers and stuff I unlocked from the few playthroughs I did.
SPOILER: The change in the load/transition screens when certain characters are romanced. That is a great attention to detail.
The ability to customize both your Biscord profile and desktop is also really nice.
The fact the writers hold up a lens to Vtuber, and online communities in general, is really nice. It’s a good way to introduce people to the culture and make it understandable without being preachy or condescending. This is something I think the writing does really well. I think it is especially important in this game because the issues/dangers/effects of the culture are also analyzed. Perspectives that people might nor ever be exposed to otherwise are shown here. It is also important to note that this is the dev’s 10th steam game. All 9 of the other games are Otome games and are no older than 2023. Across all the games, including this one, they have a total of 200 reviews. On top of none of their previous games having any standout success this game had a kickstarter and now costs 11.99 (as of 8/26/26) to play. According to the road map they also intend to increase the price as more content is released. Interaction within the discussion forums has also been scarce and typically limited to answering questions about the game. The one time criticism was responded to was to point out their projections, whatever they may be, were surpassed. Which as of the time of this review is under 100 reviews.

I don't normally post long reviews or w/e but I really enjoy this game. It has great bones for an early access game, however it has some glaring issues that the devs need to look at. I'm primarily posting this as a negative review because one of them personally ruined the experience I've had quite a bit and so people who are looking to buy the game as it is get to know a bit more about the game and it's issues. I was gonna' start off with the stuff I really like about this game but I actually hit the word limit...So....I'm just gonna talk about the issues I have with it. Obviously things can (and will) change since it's still in early access, and that's also exactly why I want to point them out already and I'll most likely come back to edit the review throughout it's development c: 1. The biggest issue this game has in my opinion is that the group chats literally do not matter. They're fun and entertaining, but what you say in them has literally no effect on your relationship with anyone in the game, nor does the script ever change. Obviously there are dialogue options in each conversation, but again, it doesn't matter. It changes a few lines throughout the conversation (or end it early in one case) but that's it? There are literally no 'consequences; for anything you say which for a romance (chat) game is honestly unbelievable, especially when the game is inspired by Mystic Messenger where what you say and do has an actual impact on your relationship with those around you. I mean, you can literally lock yourself out of a route/romance there if you say the wrong thing in the group chat, but here the only way to ruin your chances or advance your relationship with a character is through DM's. You're guaranteed to get one DM from every character, and depending on what you say there you might get another one, or lock yourself out of that route. But that's it? There's just no replay value to the group chats; once you've gone through the conversation once, you've pretty much seen it all and can just skip it entirely if you simply want to swap routes. They also don't change at all once you're locked in a romance route. It's always the same thing, the same dialogue options - nothing changes, nothing matters. I understand that branching off the common route can be a huge undertaking, especially for an indie company when there's so many love interests, and I'm not asking for everything to be different once you're going down a specific romance route, but please gives us at the very least unique dialogue options or small unique interactions within the group chats depending on who you're pursuing. It doesn't have to be big, just....something. 2. The email minigame (and the search engine) has some issues too. To me personally I found them very intuitive as I already know what to look out for when it comes to such things, but I understand that not everyone is the same (through no fault of their own) and can find it very frustrating and confusing when they suddenly get told that they clicked wrong. It's a genuinely good and honestly educational feature, but that's exactly why there needs to be a sort of 'cheat' sheet that tells you what to look out for in such situations. Okay so the remaining issues have spoilers in them so please don't read unless you're fine with that.
3. What's up with that transition card telling you that the other members are starting to suspect there's a VTuber in the server??? Where and when did that happen??? They only mentioned that they once suspected that someone in the server was one, but that was never confirmed and happened way before MC joins the server, and that's it? It's never brought up again, aside from that transition card. Like??? Who is thinking that??? And why??? What makes them believe that someone is, and who are the suspects??? It genuinely threw me off guard when I read that the first time and I 100% thought I missed something, but upon replaying it a few times, I'm still so confused where that came from. To be fair, it could definitely just be a me issue, but I just genuinely don't get it. 4. In that same vein, what is up with MC being immediately suspicious of everyone in the DM's? Why are there so many options to assume that whoever you're talking to is Equinox??? Like obviously we, as players, know that he is in the server and one of the romance options, but why does MC think it? Like??? It's genuinely so weird. Who joins a server then immediately suspects that every single you're person talking to in DM's might be your favourite VTuber? Why can't you just have a normal conversation, with people sharing the same interests as you, and then over time you can be a bit more suspicious? Why is it from 1 to 100 immediately??? It just comes out of nowhere. Again though, maybe it's a me issue. Maybe I missed something, or maybe it's a simple manner of personality clash. I just find it very confusing and in a way rather rushed? It would be really nice if a new group chat gets added where you talk about that with the others. Like a little conspiracy corner. 4. Wizardpit. Oh boy, this dude is something alright. If there ever was a character that's rushed, it's him. He's genuinely the worst written character in the game so far in my opinion, and honestly this isn't even a personality clash? At the start he obviously annoyed me, but I was interested in him. His hatred for Equinox intrigued me and I thought maybe when you romance him you get to find out more as to why he blames him so much for Momoka leaving, and I mean you sorta do? He mentions the nothing burger that sends him down the path and says he wants to send a clip that 'justifies' his conspiracy theory, but we don't get to see the clip which was...disappointing. Especially since it kinda seemed like there might be more to it than him just being bitter about her graduating primarily because of a comment he makes during a group chat that alludes to him knowing who Equinox is. Which made me think oh maybe he actually knows him personally, and knew Momoka personally too, but then he didn't. That part is honestly fine. I love a conspiracy nut being a conspiracy nut (well...not when it concerns actual real life people, but this is in a game so-) but what personally isn't fine is that every single conversation with him was about Equinox in one way or another. Like, seriously. It was always 'Equinox this, Equinox that, wow you think I'm him I'm so sad, why do you keep comparing me to him'. Like PLEASE give me a break. Give me a normal conversation, just one!!! I understand he's very bitter about the whole thing, and again conspiracy nut, but where is the bonding? Where is the chemistry? Where is anything but Equinox??? Like Wizardpit's romance felt so...rushed and sudden and just...I don't even know man. It just needs more work, that's for sure. Especially, awe man this part really annoyed me, what's up with the one day ban? I thought maybe we would get more information on that, but nope! Nothing! All we get from him that day is the nothingburger about Momoka... Like I genuinely want to know what happened? They said he got banned for hacking, but hacking who? To be fair with that, it could, again, just be a me issue. Maybe I missed something that explains it properly, or...something, but!!! What isn't a me issue, is that we can't we ask him about that in the DM's. He doesn't talk about it or complain that it happened, and we don't get the option to talk about it either. At all. This is just another example of the group chats literally not mattering! It's so frustrating.
Anyways, I think that's all I have to say? Again, I want to stress that I'm not saying these things to trash on the game or anything like that, I just personally think these are issues that need to be addressed/worked on in the future for the good of the game.
I was actually really excited to play this game (did not try the demo) because I'm a vtuber fan, saw the art was pretty & that some vtubers I like did voice acting for the game. I was keen! Unfortunately I'm struggling to play the game because I'm finding it too boring. My criticisms (this may be spoilers for some, so read ahead with caution): Dialogue options for the player - I felt like I could only play as an obnoxiously thirsty person, or I was trying to pick options that sounded sarcastic/funny to me but wasn't sure if they'd be treated as 'serious' by the NPCS. This was unenjoyable for me. Lack of worldbuilding for the game - why do I like & support this oshi? I don't actually even knowing anything about them (& the other vtubers) except for how they look & that they're flirty... It felt weird progressing in this game. Why am I receiving pictures in dms? Why do they like me when it feels like I haven't even done anything except reply to their messages enthusiastically? Why am I in this random groupchat about oshi chatbots??? How do I know my progress (except for failing those email minigames - which also frustrated me because I thought I could hilariously reply to the spam email but it's just BOOM! Fail! Like what?)? My main problem with this game is the writing & actual 'gameplay' - I feel like I'm trudging through so much text (& I honestly don't mind reading a lot, I love to read, but it just felt like I was reading a bunch of nothing, nothing related to my 'oshi', just about vague antis or drama in the textchats & then random flirting in the dms - it annoyed me) & I'm doing that to... get closer to my oshi's PL? I'm trying to understand the appeal, but for me, this game was too confusing, I don't know what my in-game goal is meant to be. Like this game is marketed as a parasocial dating sim & I assume I'm basically trying to find who the PL is & then romance them, but it doesn't actually feel like I'm 'enjoying that experience', if that makes any sense. In term of how the game runs, I didn't run into many problems, I did have a bug at the start where the 1st convo looped for some reason, but on the surface the game looks 'polished'. The art & voice acting is very nice. I might keep trying to play this game, to try to love parts of it - but I'm not really motivated to play further at the moment.
**OKAY THE SUPPORT TEAM IS AMAZİNG GUYSS!! THEY LİTERALLY HELPED ME TİLL I COULD PLAY THE GAME AND IM SO HAPPY CUZ THİS GAME IS AMAZINGG LIKE GİVİNG ME EVERYTHİNG I ASKED FOR SO İTS 100% WORTH DOWNLOADING!!!** okay i've been waiting for this game to come out for so long and i bought it as sooon as it did tho there's a tttiiiiny problem...i cant play it? is it suppose to open up at the guys stream cuz it just shows the in game computer background with the live emote up but not showing anything and i cant click on anythint (ps: i tried closing it and re-opening then uninstalling it and re-installing it yet still cant play i deleted the save file and re made one still nope i cannot play anything can only open the settings pls help i love the consept and wanna play it and im sure its a really good game)
The dialogue in this game is just not doing it for me at all. Just as other reviewers have said, your own dialogue options are extremely limiting and they kind of disgust me. Your only choices are sarcastic, thirsty, or obnoxious. The character you're made to play in this game is someone I would immediately tune out if I saw them in a real chat. The dialogue delivery is also just confusing as hell. It's rambly, full of a bunch of nonsense filler messages and things that don't get to the point. I get that it's meant to emulate a real chat, but it's boring at best, and unpleasant at worst. If I, in real life, were looking for a vtuber community to join and hang out in, I would avoid this one like it's Asmongold. Insufferable. This is really not at all what I was hoping for from this game and I'm very disappointed.
Finally giving this game a review after finishing all routes in EA. I had to pull a route guide/walkthrough to finish any routes cause it was unplayable with me using my own choices/sarcastic personality. The minigames are atrocious, yes I can recognize patterns for the emails and the google search but it's not 100% accurate. This entire game felt like throwing darts and hoping that anything lands. It's a shame cause the concept, characters and the artstyle looks great.
I finished all the love interests routes and had a lot of fun. I love love love the inclusion of the VTubing community, very cool. The art is so good and I really like all the love interests personalities. I liked that I could customize my profile. BUT, I think that $11 is a little steep for the lack of content in this game. I have played longer games on itch that are either free or a couple bucks. IDK HOW TO USE THE SPOILER THING SO UHH SPOILERS? All the routes are linear. I have six hours of playtime, as far as I know I think I've done everything. I kind of hoped that there would be some sort of conflict. It's just kind of boring after the first 2/3 routes. I KNOW THIS IS A CHAT GAME HOWEVER, I found myself losing interest especially in the group chat parts. There's just very little story or conflict. After locking into a romance route, the other love interests kind of don't talk to you. I noticed that there were different groupchat scenes depending on what character you're romancing (i think), but you're locked into a route based on the name you clicked first everyday. I wish there was some more complex method of locking in your path, it's very basic. I don't like knowing that these easy, specific, and early actions mean that's who your romancing. I really detest games that don't take care making the routes seamless/invisible to the player. I just feel like this game had so much more potential. Some things I would've like to see (especially with the money made on the kickstarter and the price of the game) - Video calls with the love interests - character customization - an actual conflict/story of some sort (i know there's the hate towards Equinox stuff, but again it got boring and repetitive) - a more seamless experience getting locked into LI routes and more time to talk to them before being locked into one - can MC be rewritten a little, they're a little too suspicious that everyone is a VTuber. I joined tons of biscords in my lifetime and have never thought "The interest of this biscord is this random I just met in the biscord" Alright, not trying to rip of the game too much. I did enjoy the game, had some laughs, Wizardpits my bf. However, I was hesitant about the game being $11. I know it's early access, but I don't really think it met my expectations. Looking forward to everything they add in 1.0 tho <3
WizardPit
这个线真难顶啊前面选错了就直接开不了了,试了一下午含泪找攻略,但明明的自己的线却有股
微妙的败犬味
那很香了,我原谅了
Actually obsessed. To be fair: this game is still very EA - but listen to me and let me finish first. The routes aren't complete but there's a roadmap; so we get updates every month until 1.0. You can start the routes of 6 different love interests ( four guys, 2 girls) and each route - unless you skip dialogue and extra content like streams - is approximately 4-5 hours long. There's a huge "common route" first, so it's good that we actually have an "instant chat" option in the settings. So much about the current content without spoilers. What makes this actually so good? First of all, it honestly feels like a living Discord-Chatroom. The writers are capable of having distinctive voices for ALL chatters (yes, even the "normal" supporting roles) so it feels immersive and never ooc for any of them. So if you're a Discord-lurker on any server, this already feels like home. The VAs are very good, too - all streams are fully voiced. Obviously chats aren't - but if you get voice calls you'll get the feeling of quality once again. Now I want to adress some things I hope the devs could add (because I think it will make the game even better). - EARLY GAME: better pacing of the early routes. Maybe give them slightly longer chatrooms to "breathe" a bit longer and interact with MC as for now it's really fast paced - EARLY GAME: more optional chatrooms (and maybe make the choices matter there too because right now I feel they don't) to build up on this "online friendship" - GENERAL: please add common "VN sections" outside Biscord-gameplay. I don't want to spoiler, but there's some stuff happening inside some routes which are mentioned in voice calls and chats but never actually shown in the game. They don't have to be that long - but not everything is happening inside the chatroom, so the relationship will profit by doing so. Anyway, since this game will get more content and they already announced a price increase, I recommend buying it during EA!
I haven’t played a dating sim in a long time. I legit only picked this up the day before release and by the gods I am so glad I did. I don’t understand 90% of the terminology and that’s okay, but the characters make me happy. It really is like being in a cute chatroom in an old school way. The essays do drive me nuts (one day I will complete one) and e-mails can be tricky here and there, but highly educational. The gameplay is simple and fun and I enjoy the streams and cute little back and forth dialogues. The best thing about this, the game adapts based on choices and there doesn’t really seem to be a truly ‘bad’ choice. It feels good to just play without picking anyone specific. I honestly wasn’t bothered by restarts to pick routes because I got more chances to see the delulu and meme’s of the side characters too. So, main part, love the romanceables- both genders. The characters are sweet and I adore them, I’m sure people will complain about depth, but its early access, give it a bit. I’m sure the devs will give more background and little side things, but as far as I’m concerned they have put out a good product and the price is reasonable. So much replay ability already and I’m a big hater of having to replay games. The twists are what get me the most- once you learn all the things, the chats look so much different xD I love it so much. The devs have me already excited for more and I hope this game gets popular. There was a lot of love and care put into every part and the VA’s- just mmmmm I was a very happy gamer. I can’t even pick a favorite which is what makes this harder. Tl:dr Buy the game. It’s worth it. The story is fast paced enough for dopamine junkies and the chats are fun. You’ll find something new every play through and all the clips and photos are worth it. Trust. Def hope this blows up.
