Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 10 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Significant downgrade from Life is strange and other Dontnod titles. The graphics are much much better, but the story is worse. There's barely any dramatic structure in the story, a lot of forced romance, also not to mention the bad voice acting. It's just so fake, they definitely could've picked better VA and invested more into the story. The scene with the
concert
was so fake and there are many cringe interaction. Apart from that the gameplay is ok for a narrative game, they nailed the 90s vibe, the camcorder was an interesting addition and the fact that they tried to change the genre midway from a story based adventure to psychological horror/sci-fi or whatever was going on was an interesting idea, but clearly not executed well.

HOLY VOICE ACTING. I’m 10 mins in and the acting is reminiscent of “you’re tearing me apart Lisa!!!!!!!!!!!” but unfunny, iykyk. The Swann character sounds like an adult trying to play a teenager. I can almost see the notes written on the script because it sounds too obvious and unnatural. I’m returning the game before I get permanent frown lines, and this is coming from an LGBTQ gay lord myself…Oh, and some NPC voices sound like they were recorded under different conditions: different room/studio/microphones. The reverb and distance from the microphones aren’t consistent, which makes it hard for me to stay immersed in the game.
Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is a choices matter story game. It's set in the year 1995 and often switches to the present year 2022. As you play, you're able to get closer to the girls and uncover the past that they forgot. The story is good but it takes a few hours to get really interesting. In the first few hours you're just building the bond with the girls and getting to know them better. The gap in between saves is annoying, you can't manually save the game, and if you restart a checkpoint you can't skip the dialogue, you have to listen to everything all over again. The cam recorder feature is fun to use, and your choices actually matter! Overall the game is great, 9/10
We need a tape 3
I cannot recommend the game, even though the message and the mystical elements come across beautifully from Tape 2 onwards. But it just.. isn't complete! It breaks up in the middle of it and doesn't feel completed. Not at all. And I find that really brazen. The good: - The music is lovely. At times, however, it is a bit too loud and excessive; especially in scenes where nothing is happening or there is high drama, the music injects too much emotion for my taste. - The graphics are stunning. There were some graphical glitches at the end of Tape 2—something I find unacceptable after so many years. Nevertheless, the game's visual presentation is truly beautiful, and the camcorder mechanic is executed brilliantly. The bad: - The ending is completely open. The final scene (Swann alone in the woods) clearly shows that a "Tape 3" was planned, but it looks like we won't be getting it. I don't think that's right, because I really would have liked to know what happened to Kat. - For the most part, Tape 1 was boring and far too slow for me. The perspective kept switching back and forth between 2022 and 1995, and there wasn't really anything going on in either reality. It often played out like this: In 2022, the friends sit together reminiscing, constantly hinting at how intense their past experiences were. Cut to 1995: the girls are chilling in the woods and by the lake, living out their best summer. Nothing dramatic happens. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Sure, they stumble upon a mystery, but in Tape 1, everything is so harmless and harmonious that I was genuinely bored. The drama involving Kat's sister's boyfriend felt completely overblown and forced. - Some of the interactions (across both tapes) felt really far-fetched and incredibly contrived. - The choices aren't always obvious—which is partly a good thing—but I do hold it against the game, because the consequences only really became clear to me at the end of Tape 2 (since everything hinges on conversations and how you conduct yourself). - The characters are... likable, but also somewhat one-dimensional. Nora left in the 2022 timeline in my playthrough, and it didn't really affect me much, even though I really liked the 1995 version of her. I felt the game gave me very few opportunities to truly get to know her in 2022. - Overall, there simply wasn't enough going on in the game for me—you can't explore anything because you're always locked into specific scenes. The whole camcorder concept is a nice idea, but ultimately, it's just a tool to facilitate collection tasks for trophies; it doesn't actually serve a gameplay function. - The game feels a bit too superficial to me overall, especially regarding the storyline centered on Kat. I would have liked more background details and information—perhaps even a glimpse of some adults from the past. However, the characters who do appear (in 1995) are all hostile toward the girls, with the exception of Kat’s sister, whom you can actually win over. The supporting characters all come across as very black-and-white and stereotypical. All in all, the game aims to convey a certain vibe. It often gets lost in grand music and striking visuals without actually saying anything meaningful. You frequently find yourself slowly trudging through the woods, filming frogs without really doing anything. Entertaining boredom? The game tries to build an atmosphere, but for me, it fails because—especially in the longer "Tape 1"—simply nothing happens. "Tape 2" is better in that regard, but then comes the open ending (clearly pointing toward a third installment that doesn't exist), which ruins it all over again. Please don't buy this game; it doesn't feel finished.
