Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Developed and published by Puko, Lost Diskettes Vol.1 is an anthology of six standalone horror adventures that pays tribute to the eerie storytelling found in classic supernatural television while embracing the visual identity of retro gaming. Rather than following one continuous plot, the game presents a collection of unsettling tales, each introducing new protagonists, environments, and mysteries. Every chapter feels like uncovering a forgotten digital relic, inviting players into strange situations where reality slowly unravels and unexpected twists become the centerpiece of the experience. The game's strongest quality is its variety. Every diskette explores a different horror concept, preventing the anthology from becoming repetitive. Instead of relying on loud jump scares or constant danger, the stories build suspense through atmosphere, unsettling discoveries, and psychological tension. As players move from one episode to another, they encounter unique scenarios that range from bizarre encounters to disturbing mysteries, with each narrative delivering its own identity while maintaining the anthology's overall eerie tone. This approach keeps the experience fresh and encourages curiosity about what each new diskette will reveal. Gameplay is intentionally simple, allowing the stories to remain the primary focus. Exploration, conversations, and player decisions form the core of each chapter, with dialogue choices influencing how events unfold. Multiple endings provide meaningful replay value, rewarding players who revisit stories to uncover different outcomes. The inclusion of unlockable achievements further motivates completionists, giving players additional goals beyond simply reaching each ending. Although the mechanics are not particularly deep, they effectively support the narrative-driven design without interrupting the pacing. Visually, Lost Diskettes Vol.1 embraces an authentic low-polygon aesthetic inspired by late-1990s console horror games. Rough textures, minimalist character models, and retro presentation work together to create an unsettling atmosphere that feels intentionally nostalgic rather than technically outdated. The visual style complements the surreal storytelling exceptionally well, allowing players' imaginations to amplify the unsettling nature of the environments. Combined with eerie sound design and restrained musical cues, the presentation consistently reinforces the feeling of exploring forgotten horror stories preserved on aging digital media. One of the anthology's greatest accomplishments is its ability to create tension without overstaying its welcome. Each story is concise enough to remain engaging while offering enough mystery to leave a lasting impression. The constantly changing settings and themes ensure that every chapter introduces new ideas instead of recycling familiar horror formulas. However, the shorter runtime of individual episodes means that some stories conclude just as their concepts become especially intriguing, leaving players wishing certain narratives had been explored in greater depth. As with many anthologies, the quality of the episodes also varies slightly, with some delivering more memorable conclusions than others. Despite these minor shortcomings, Lost Diskettes Vol.1 succeeds as a creative collection of interactive horror stories. Its combination of branching dialogue, multiple endings, atmospheric presentation, and retro-inspired visuals creates an experience that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly original. Rather than attempting to compete with large-scale horror productions, it focuses on delivering compact, imaginative tales that reward exploration and replayability. Players who appreciate psychological horror, experimental storytelling, and classic PlayStation-inspired aesthetics will find plenty to enjoy throughout this unusual anthology. Rating: 7/10
