there's such an aesthetic flow between the music, graphics, ui, and movements in this game. it plays like something i would get out of a cereal box in the early 2000s. 🪼 attacking the enemies felt enjoyable, and although the bosses got me easily the first time around, once u learn their move pattern it becomes really fun (protip: owning the billion gallon hat is crucial to good strat). the maps are really big but don't feel like they drag on. only cons were that the controls took a bit getting used to and the camera wouldn’t adjust sometimes when jumping up on a higher platform. very silly fun game!
uh yea
a cute little game with solid art direction surrounding simple but fun mechanics :P levels are short but fun with both combat and platforming remaining just difficult enough to be engaging without becoming frustrating, while bosses offer a bit more of of challenge at the end of each level. the light metroidvania-style progression sprinkled in is a nice touch, giving the player a sense of progression as they complete each level the game also has a self-aware sense of humor that's very endearing

This game was actually a lot of fun and super cute. The whole idea of this penguin robot guy just jumping through computers to play different discs was so cool. Overall I really enjoyed this super cute game.
Great game, especially for free. Gameplay is really responsive and satisfying. Even though the controls themselves are simple, the game has a lot of variety through level design and enemy placement. Bosses have been fun so far as well. Art direction also well done.
Still playing through it but I love the gameplay! It feels nostalgic yet new, and I love the pixelated theme. This game does a good job at making a platformer fun and interesting. Each level is unique and interesting, a great mix of cozy game and action/adventure.
3 things to say: 1. Freakin awesome! 2. Coolest looking graphics of the year 3. Coolest gameplay of the year 4. Freakin awesome!
It is a good game with nice levels and a good theme (I like the retro theme), and I like the weapons in the game because there are choices of weapons with either a longer range or a higher attack. The boss also fits the theme in the level, as well as the enemies, and I like the collectibles in the levels as well because it gives the player a sense of achievement to collect them all and see them appear on the main hub. The boss fight is very innovative as well and it requires you to use the weapons you have obtained to avoid taking damage, and bosses have good special attacks as well.
I gotta say, I honestly really like the game as it is right now! The aesthetic is charming as all heck, and a pleasure to hear as well. I really enjoy the 3d models on a 2d perspective the game goes for. The level design is pretty simple but also very enjoyable to go through! And the stickers are a really nice collectible to try and nab, especially with all the different nicknames they have. My main complaint is unfortunately the controls. Controls usually make or break platformers for me, and unfortunately my preferred playstyle (an Xbox controller) is not fully supported. The only actions I got to work with it were jumping, moving around and navigating the menus. If native controller support was fully implemented, I could see me and honestly a lot more people find enjoyment in this game, but as it stands its an incredibly charming game that I'll go back to every now and then.
fun and simple, pretty underrated.
