Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 22 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
This was surprisingly a lot more interesting than I initially expected. Story is a bit strange, but there is beauty in that. This wasn't as annoying as many similar games that require backtracking. I went through 90% of the game without ever finding the first floor map (for a silly reason) and was able to navigate confidently. Everything you need to solve all the puzzles is found within the game. Don't overthink them. You will need a pad and pen whether physically or digitally--and this is something I enjoy when playing puzzle games. The artstyle and music are both haunting and beautiful. Highly recommended.

Finally got back around to finishing this, such an underappreciated puzzle game that contends with the likes of Return of the Obra Dinn and The Talos Principle. It has such a moody atmosphere that I highly recommend you play it in the dark with curtains drawn. Pen and paper are also essential here, recollection is heavily relied on for puzzle solving.
Laser eye [precision]
It's not often I feel like a game has a true artistic vision behind it, an artistic vision that permeates it thoroughly, but I think Lorelei and the laser eyes does. While some of it clearly was born from having a smaller budget, they really made the best of it and at no point does it every feel like anything is missing content-wise or could have been done much better with a bigger budget. Even the length at around 25 hours of playtime surprised me for such a type of game, you're getting your money's worth. What you get is a HEAVILY stylized puzzle game with a plethora of different types of puzzles. Some logic, some mathematic, some visual. And in a few cases even across time and space, just like the story, that is spanning the life and death of the eccentric artists Lorelei Weiss and Renzo Nero. The game keeps you guessing what actually went down and what is real, blending fiction and meta-fiction, without ever feeling pretentious. At the end of the game I had two A4 sheets full of notes and several dozen screenshots with scribbles on them to help me get through the adventure and I LOVED diving into this weird scifi-fantasy story. But I do have some gripes with the game: * It's sometimes actually hard to find new puzzles and unlike what some reviews suggest, it isn't until the later half where you have several puzzles you can tackle. For the first 10 or so hours, it's usually just 1 or 2 puzzles at a time, so you have to do those. But I've felt the majority of puzzles were fair. * At the end of the game you have to input three sets of codes that you have worked towards finding for most of the game. The issue is that you have to input all three sets of codes one after another and you do NOT get any feedback which one of them is incorrect. That is a really bad oversight. * Surprisingly, the biggest issue however are the controls. You control the entire game, menus, every single puzzle just with the d-pad/joystick and one action button. This was a horrible design decision and never should have made it through QA. What this means is there is no "back" button to easily exit menus and in some cases you might even exit the puzzle without realizing there is more you can do. One (spoiler-free) example would be the shredded "magic posters", where it took me forever to realize you can actually move individual shredded parts. There were at least two other instances where something similar happened. While these grievances could easily be fixed by the devs (there even is a "back button" mod), overall they did not impact my enjoyment of the game to a degree that it made me stop. I kept wanting to find new puzzles, new story bits and see where this is going. And I was not disappointed at all, it's a lovely story! I give it an 8.5/10.
Peak
The amount of depth that is put into some of the puzzles in this game really makes me wonder how much effort Simogo put into designing them, especially since the solutions are apparently randomized every playthrough from start to finish. One example of this complexity is
going into a "year" room to figure out what code should be inputted into its corresponding box, based on how certain objects or patterns in the room relate to the year it's based on. Then, when you get to the corresponding box, by going to a museum exhibit on the second floor of the hotel, and input that code, you get to open it and find a page of a biography. Once you do the same thing for every other "year" box and get all the pages, you have to show them to an old lady to get encrypted messages or patterns that you have to decipher, just to figure out 1 out of the 3 steps needed to log in to a computer terminal at the end of the game.
This game also came out on my birthday :D
I see how it ends now.
Jouez-y !
