This game is very short, but i really loved it. It lasts a little over an hour, but in that time it managed to make me care about the characters and story. The gameplay was ok, the concept is cool but the game is super easy. The spritework, the vibes, the atmosphere, and soundtrack is super good, i loved it as a whole.
Loplight is a fantastic little game characterized firstly by its incredibly beautiful sprite work and secondly by its fascinating world. Scumhead really did an amazing job putting it together, its a joy to play in spite of a few prominent problems. The game is far to easy due to the balancing around the combat system, said system being really interesting and having a lot of potential, but ultimately being clunky and lacking in the needed fluidity for a game like this. The gameplay is fun and attacks feel pretty good, but combat can be a bit uninteresting due to the fact that the main combat mechanics make the player all but invincible. However, in spite of the gameplay problems the art of this game, the visuals, sound, story, characters, design, its all great and kept me driving on. I highly recommend the game and cant wait to see what else Scumhead does in the future.

This game is extremely unique and one of the few games to truly surprise me in recent years. Definitely on the easier side, but instantly worth it for the narrative experience. This is my favourite of Scumhead's games thus far. Big recommend.
I had a very good time with this game. If you take advantage of the mechanics available, the game is nearly impossible to lose, but it takes mindfulness to keep on top of that. The soundtrack is something I have listened to many times over compared to how long it took to go through the game itself. The story and vibes are great, but it is very grim and sad/dystopian. I would recommend if you wanna experience the same vibe of playing Bloodbourne on a gameboy color.
A game with a simple narrative, yet one that uses symbolic language drawing from very serious and ancient themes. Everything has meaning; nothing is accidental. Despite being short, the game presents a deep philosophy and offers space for expressing emotions that are hard to explain. It feels like a gateway leading to questions, answers, and philosophical nightmares. The game certainly has a captivating narrative with interesting characters, even though it’s brief. Its aesthetic is creative, with solid concept art thanks to the effective use of colors and shapes in each character sprite, despite its simplicity. The characters have a clear visual meaning tied to their motivations. It’s a beautiful game, but what stands out visually is how each character and NPC represents something important to the story.
short and sweet. its definitely scumhead
Inspired and deep project that gave me back my interest in real indie games
this game rules thank u scumhead
