I have to review this because Steam stopped keeping track of playtime of games you don't own so I may run into this game in the future and forget I didn't like it. Might as well give my impressions: Good work was done on the feel and look of the game. Doesn't look like there is too much weapon variety and weapons can be picked up by every class so the classes basically feel the same. Runes suck and repeat. Almost no i-frames so you can die quickly. Just feels fairly shallow

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.

Buen juego para pasar el rato con amigos, un poco dificil de jugar con el mando pero con teclado todo bien.
A really nice Action game with good pixel style. get it while you can as its on sale and very cheap!

Thank you developers for a review key. This game runs over 500 fps for me on my gaming computer. It's hardcore for sure fighting wasps, knights, green blobs, gofers and more with permadeath.
LootLite is an indie roguelike dungeon crawler developed and published by Isoca Games that focuses on fast-paced action, randomized exploration, and a steady cycle of combat and treasure hunting. Built around a classic top-down perspective, the game embraces a retro arcade style while incorporating modern roguelike mechanics such as procedural level generation and repeatable runs. Rather than delivering a lengthy narrative-driven adventure, LootLite aims to provide quick bursts of dungeon exploration where players continually improve their skills, experiment with different characters, and gather powerful equipment during each run. The result is a compact action experience that prioritizes gameplay loop and replayability over story complexity. The premise of the game revolves around a land threatened by powerful dragons that have stolen treasure from across the peninsula. These dragons have turned various regions of the world into dangerous territories filled with monsters and traps, making it nearly impossible for ordinary inhabitants to recover what was taken. Players take on the role of adventurous heroes determined to reclaim these stolen riches and defeat the threats lurking throughout the land. While the narrative itself remains relatively simple, it provides a suitable backdrop for the game’s core focus on exploration, combat, and collecting valuable loot scattered across the world. Gameplay unfolds through procedurally generated dungeons and outdoor areas where players navigate dangerous environments filled with enemies and hidden secrets. Because the layout of each run is randomized, players rarely encounter the same arrangement of rooms or enemies twice. This randomness encourages exploration and adaptability, forcing players to react to unpredictable situations as they progress through each stage. Along the way, players discover weapons, magical runes, and other items that can dramatically change the effectiveness of their character during combat. One of the most appealing elements of LootLite is its selection of playable characters, each representing a different combat style. Players can choose from several hero archetypes such as warriors, assassins, barbarians, mages, and necromancers. Each class offers unique abilities and strengths that shape the way players approach combat encounters. For example, melee-focused characters excel in close-range combat, while magical classes rely on ranged attacks and special abilities to control the battlefield. This variety encourages experimentation, as different character types can create entirely different gameplay experiences during each run. Combat is quick and action-oriented, requiring players to move constantly while attacking enemies and avoiding incoming damage. Encounters often involve groups of enemies that must be handled carefully to avoid becoming overwhelmed. Timing, positioning, and quick reflexes are important skills, especially as players encounter stronger enemies deeper within the game’s levels. As with many roguelike games, death resets the current run and forces players to begin again from the start, reinforcing the importance of learning enemy patterns and improving strategies with each attempt. The progression system is closely tied to the equipment and items players discover during exploration. Weapons and upgrades found throughout the levels can significantly alter a character’s abilities, sometimes granting entirely new attack effects or enhancing existing skills. Some items increase raw damage output, while others provide defensive benefits or unique magical effects. Because these items appear randomly during each run, players must adapt their strategies depending on what equipment they find. This unpredictability adds excitement to exploration, as discovering a powerful item can completely change the direction of a run. Hidden areas and secret paths also play an important role in the exploration aspect of the game. Players who carefully search the environment may uncover concealed passages that lead to additional treasure or powerful equipment. These hidden sections reward curiosity and encourage players to explore beyond the obvious paths rather than simply rushing toward the next objective. The presence of these secrets helps make each dungeon feel more engaging despite the relatively simple level design. Another feature that adds variety to the experience is the inclusion of local cooperative play. Two players can team up and explore the dungeons together, combining their abilities to defeat enemies and survive longer runs. Cooperative gameplay introduces an additional layer of strategy, as players must coordinate their actions and support each other during difficult encounters. The chaotic nature of combat becomes even more entertaining when shared with another player, making cooperative sessions one of the most enjoyable ways to experience the game. Visually, LootLite embraces a pixel-art style that draws inspiration from classic arcade and console games. Characters, enemies, and environments are rendered using colorful sprite artwork that emphasizes clarity and readability during combat. The top-down perspective allows players to quickly assess the battlefield and react to threats from multiple directions. While the graphics are relatively simple compared to modern high-budget games, the retro aesthetic fits well with the game’s fast-paced and nostalgic gameplay design. The sound design complements the action with energetic music and responsive sound effects. Combat is accompanied by satisfying audio cues for weapon strikes, magical attacks, and enemy defeats. The soundtrack maintains a lively rhythm that matches the pace of the gameplay, helping keep the action engaging throughout each run. Although the audio presentation remains fairly straightforward, it supports the overall arcade-like atmosphere of the game. Despite its enjoyable gameplay loop, LootLite does have several limitations that become noticeable after extended playtime. The relatively small amount of content means that players may encounter repeated enemy types and environments fairly quickly. Additionally, while the combat mechanics are enjoyable, they remain relatively simple compared to deeper roguelike titles that feature more complex progression systems or narrative elements. As a result, the game may begin to feel repetitive for players who prefer more expansive roguelike experiences. Even with these shortcomings, LootLite still manages to provide a satisfying and accessible dungeon-crawling experience. Its straightforward mechanics, randomized levels, and variety of playable characters offer enough replay value to keep players engaged for multiple runs. The game’s cooperative mode and hidden secrets further enhance its longevity, especially for players who enjoy experimenting with different character builds and strategies. In the end, LootLite stands as a modest but entertaining indie roguelike that successfully captures the spirit of classic arcade dungeon crawlers. While it may not offer the depth or scale of larger roguelike games, it provides a fun and approachable experience built around exploration, combat, and the constant search for better loot. For players looking for a light, fast-paced dungeon crawler that can be enjoyed in short sessions, the game delivers a solid and enjoyable adventure. Rating: 7/10
Super responsive controls and never ending action make this game both thrilling and a joy to play! Absolutely worth the price of $6.99 USD, no doubt about it! My coverage for this game starts at exactly 1 hour into this livestream: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIvGgORxl1U I'd give this game a first impressions score of an 8.5 out of 10. Great game for the money! Highly Recommended!
