Look Outside is a survival horror RPG set in a single apartment building. A mysterious event turns anyone who looks out the window into grotesque monsters, leaving the world in absolute chaos. Scavenge the building to seek food, supplies, and weapons while encountering strange characters.

Not recommended... Alien Isolation issue of progression, but even more unforgiving. Add terrible controls, enemies that lock onto you and have perfect pathing.... I guess this is an interesting concept, might return when I can stand the terrible chase scenes and the controls, which are the scariest part, other than the RNG.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is one of the best RPGs I've ever played! I love the creepy story and the creative entities. The game is also very deep and there are a billion things to discover and plenty of surprises. It never gets boring and will keep you at the edge of your seat. If you're a fan of RPGs and like creepy/scary stuff then this game is perfect for you.
Kinda a "sanitized" version of fear and hunger (because gentialia is a no-no in the west) but with a way better story and way better character interactions to compensate.
Scary
love this game :)) would kiss lyle more if i could i love him so much
I am usually not one for indieRPG. But I am one for body horror. This game knocks both out of the park. It also maintains a level of optimism and charm in dark times that I find incredibly refreshing. I can tell already this game is going to stay in a special place in my heart.
Incredible
Genuinely one of the best disability allegories I've seen in a piece of media, BY FAR the best one I've ever seen in a video game. It's so refreshing to play a horror game that is genuinely scary, but doesn't rely on visible disabilities for cheap horror or to show which characters you're supposed to like and which characters you're not supposed to like. Many people you encounter are human, despite the fact that they have changed, and the game treats them as such. On top of that, the game is really fun to play. It's super satisfying to go from praying every encounter you come across doesn't kill you to actively seeking out bosses to fight, and every part of that progression feels earned. It's also very nice building up your team and getting to have small interactions with them outside of combat, I cared deeply about each of my party members and recruits. The turn based combat is simple, but works well. The pixel artwork is super detailed (and grotesque!) and the soundtrack is full of bangers. It also works great on Steam Deck (I used a community layout that worked perfectly). The one thing I'd nitpick is that a lot of areas are super easy to get lost in, so don't be afraid to look up a map if you get stuck. Most survival horror games set in the apocalypse go all in on hopelessness and despair. Although I like games with oppressive atmospheres and the themes explored in them, it's refreshing to see a game that focuses on the positive aspects of survival and the moments of hope and togetherness you feel even when everything seems to be working against you. Don't look up anything about this game before you buy it- and you should buy it, especially on sale, as you can easily get 20-40 hours out of it (ESPECIALLY if you go for multiple endings, which you should). It's up there with some of my absolute favorite games, both because of the themes it explores and because it's genuinely fun to play. You'll have a great time.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, Honest review for how amazing it is.
