Really great game. Keeps the old school charm while not feeling clunky. Great body horror and art and a ton of content and endings.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I discovered this game through a random youtube video that was eight hours long, those eight hours were enough to convince me to buy this game, I find the characters to be tragic yet comforting. It's like if Fear & Hunger was a bit more family friendly. I find the music to be enjoyable and it really sets a certain mood of perservering throughout the game. Also Joel and my Rat Child have my heart. Overall I'd give it a 10/10 experience and do reccomend trying it out if you want a good story of finding the humanity in things that no longer feel human.
You can look outside
obsessed with this game lately. its one of the best RPGs to come out in a long time. amazing music, amazing pixelart, amazing humor, amazing themes one of a few games i would reccomend even at full price if nothing else just to support the dev.
Quality RPG with literally endless amounts of content. I've played for 100+ hours and I only have HALF the achievements and there are still tons of content I've yet to even see. Great puzzles and secrets, loveable eldritch-like characters that are somehow all so charming in many different ways. The artwork is incredible, and this game is more of a psychological horror as there aren't really many typical jumpscares, but with the brilliant writing and grotesque reality you become a part of, you find yourself truly immersed and unnerved. COULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS GAME ENOUGH!!! Severely underrated, and so cheap in comparison to the sheer amount of content you get. PLEAASE play this game. Better story, content, and gameplay than the more expensive games on the market. 100,000,000/10.
Горел желанием выйти в окно, но мне не дали. В чём мораль? Не смотрите на собаку, пока она срёт.
This is one of the coolest RPGs I've ever played. Unbelievably creative, superbly written, tightly designed, and just downright ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun the whole way through. I spent most of my playthrough totally gobsmacked at how inventive its sequences and encounters could be. The characters, monsters, and environments are as gorgeously drawn as they are ridiculously varied. Damn near every combat encounter and every area in the game is bespoke. The game doesn't repeat itself. ♥♥♥♥, it doesn't need to, because it never runs out of ideas. Every music track in the game falls somewhere on a scale between harrowing and an absolute jam. Usually it's some mixture of both. The sound design is excellent too, in my opinion solely responsible for a few moments in the game being positively unforgettable. The game executes Lovecraftian horror on a level precious few games ever seem to. The world feels immediately neither right nor real, and then it only twists toward more hellish depths the further you get. There is body and cosmic horror galore, and some absolutely horrific narrative gut-punches that it will subject you to. Awful choices that it will force you to make. But for every cold, gruesome tragedy you have to contend with, the game also manages to inject some incredible charm and even humor that somehow ultimately coheres this bizarre, dream-like tone that just draws you deeper into the world instead of kicking you out. There are more than a few encounters in this game that I would rank among the most memorable I've ever seen; some because they're heartbreaking, others because they are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hilarious. A quick warning, though: The game can be a real bastard sometimes. Fights can turn from bad to worse real quick, there are numerous ticking clocks to worry about, and there are some nasty instant game-overs you can stumble into if you're not careful. On "normal" difficulty, save points are not exactly infinite or quick to come by. I have lost many hours of progress to this combo (note my playtime: in-game it's about 13 hours). Normally I think I'd find it infuriating, but I enjoyed everything else across the game so much it more than made up for it. And besides, you learn pretty quick how risky you can and can't get away with playing, and the game is only truly at its most difficult in the first few hours anyway. I honestly can't recommend this game enough for JRPG fans, horror fans, Lovecraft fans. It is so much better than I expected and so totally worth the pricetag. 10/10 would look again
Fantastic game that makes every playthrough feel fresh with it's RNG integrated mechanics, feels like a blend of Resident Evil with the turn based combat of a JRPG like Final Fantasy/Chrono Trigger.
This is without question my favorite indie horror game. The way all the clockwork comes together to contribute to a unified theme of finding humanity when everyone's a freak or a monster is brilliant. It's kind of like undertale in that it uses a traditionally violent (if abstracted) game genre with subverted mechanics to tell a more liberal message? Except unlike undertale, Look Outside isn't preaching pacifism to the point where you obstinately need to refuse to defend yourself even as soldiers with full intent and awareness attempt to murder your child player character. When someone tries to kill you in Look Outside, you're not judged for killing them back. The moral quandaries and messages are much more mature and nuanced instead: considering the benefits of trusting people and not just the potential consequences of misplaced trust for example, or your player character remembering things and considering a messed up angle on something you hadn't noticed at the time when he looks into the mirror in the morning. Also, one last shout out for a standout feature: the ending of the game (for most playthroughs anyway) is one of the most beautiful reveals I've ever seen rendered in pixel art. Frankie is an absolute top tier pixel artist, equally good at the beautiful and the grotesque.
