Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

8,5/10 more fun than the first but also shorter
The game is a blast just like part 1. It starts off slow, feeling clunky, just like 1. But 1 hour in you are blasting around. The world is fun to explore. The movement tech and puzzles are top notch as they were in 1. I feel they were a bit more easy. In part 1 I spend hours on some of the gates, here noone barred me for more than about 30 minutes. Overal a great experience for the price. Lone fungus 1 and 2 are up there for me with blashemous, hollow king, HAAK and nine sols.

An excellent sequel... I love these game progression and the smooth movement. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED..
Platforming is clumsy and annoying. If you want to buy waypoints for teleportation you will never have enough money to buy equipment. One of those games that is ok to play when you have nothing else to play. Not worth the full price.
It's a good metroidvania. Pretty average in everything, but enjoyable overall.
Good Stuff
+ The map is pretty complete: lets you know where to go, where there's something left to get, where there's a closed path... And the screenshot functionality is very welcomed. + Controls are responsive and the game feel is good in general. + Some minigames here and there. + Good share of abilities, weapons and other stuff to get. Some of them optional.
Not so Good Stuff
- Slow start. Until ~1h 20min in I didn't get my first new ability. - Some optional platforming challenges (sorry I don't remember the name) require a pixel perfect precision with the whip that the game just does not provide. Frustrating. At least the retry was fast. -- Also, since the camera is so close to the character, your ability to react in advance is very limited. I think even the devs knew that, so they put some binoculars at the start of the zone so you can look what there's in there in advance. Doesn't fix the issue though. - The "damaging sh*t coming out of camera leaving no time to react" also happened lots of times too. - There a zone which reunites 2 of the most hateable (I think) level hazards in videogame history: wind (that affects horizontal movement) and ice (makes you slip on platforms). The frustration/fun balance didn't make it worth it, imo. - The second to last and last boss were pretty frustrating too. -- In the last,
it makes you go up and up using platforms that appear pretty fast while throwing you a variety of sh*t. Well, there's a good chance that you just can't land on the tiny platform that just appeared because the attack is there, and there's not enough airborne maneuverability to dodge it well.

Neutral Stuff
* I discovered the fast travel through the map screen by chance. I don't know if I'm alone here. But the game doesn't tell you, and it saves buckets of time. * Didn't mind at all about the story or characters.
Conclusion
* If you're running out of options for a good metroidvania to play, try it! If not, there are easily 15+ others I'd recommend before this one.
I really want to love this game, but it has some things which make it really frustrating, especially in comparison to the first game. The combat is a lot slower, since the whip has a long attack animation which wasn't a thing in the first game with its instant sword attack. When you get hit, you get knocked back really far and lose control of your character, which often drops you into the void during a boss fight making you lose more damage. The map in this game is also very confusing when compared to the first game. I wish I could leave a review without having to recommend or not recommend, since I wouldn't call it bad in any case, but I think there's a lot of room for improvement Edit: Why does the ghost boss deal the same amount of damage in both Easy and Hardcore? It's the whole reason I started a new save file on an easier difficulty
