This collaboration with Goichi Sada and James Gunn has withstood the test of time. Even 14 years later, the gameplay is still more fun and original than a lot of games released in 2026. Also, Jimmy Urine being the game's composer is a testament to this game's focus on an engaging single player experience. Overall a super entertaining game with addicting gameplay and unique stage design that does not feel super copy-and-paste like a lot of these games sometimes do. The only major drawback is that this game can be completed in less than a day, but maybe that was the price they had to pay to make a game this good. Do not pay 45$ for this game, it should only be sold for 25$ max.
Best. Game. Ever. Super Dooper Cute & Badass at the same time. Glad they remastered it, Worth the buy. ♥

Un hack n slash bastante único y divertido. Sobretodo al principio, que es un desmadre y todo es nuevo y original. Juliet (que está tremenda y es uno de los reclamos del juego), su chico, su maestro y su familia me parecen unos personajazos y me han hecho reirme más de una vez. El sentido del humor es muy absurdo y casposillo, pero ahí es donde radica el encanto (el primer logro que me dieron fue por intentar mirar debajo de la falda... toda una declaración de intenciones xD). Los primeros jefes también me han parecido divertidos y originales, con eso de que cada uno va de un estilo. Además, la presentación del juego mola mucho, con los menus tipo cómic. Tiene bastantes trajes y cosas para desbloquear, aunque el traje de animadora de San Romero me parece el mejor (buen guiño por cierto). El problema es que a pesar de que no es un juego largo, los dos últimos capítulos se me han hecho un poco cuesta arriba, porque los escenarios me han parecido menos inspirados. Las situaciones, movimientos y enemigos repetitivos y los jefes un coñazo y con menos carisma que los de los primeros niveles.

I had this game in my collection back in the day but never got around to playing it. If only I knew what I had missed out on! The humor in this game is so good. I really haven't laughed this hard in a long time. The controls are pretty wonky, the gameplay doesn't feel very challenging (I only played the classic mode, though, haven't checked out the RePOP mode yet), and the game looks and feels low-budget, but it was such a blast to play that I didn't care about any of that! Definitely recommend!
