People say this game to be very buggy but i only found one at the final boss. just had to reload the fight from the beginning and everything went fine. Its really cool and funny, makes me feel nostalgic to an era with no satanic cringe gay-ass wokies.

played this back in 2012 and it made me skip school a lot, so when RePop came out i HAD to book time off work just to enjoy the nostalgia of this game and honestly im happy other people can enjoy the beauty that is Ms Juliet <3 shame we didn’t get the Haruna skin in the RePop🎀
I want to like this game since I'm a huge bayonetta fan and I like the style of this game but the hit detection is terrible. The basketball section in level 2 really made me return it because enemies just don't even register being hit and I hate that inconsistency in an action game like this. It's just slightly too clunky to be good.
I remember playing this on the 360 back in the day and having a blast. Fast forward 15-ish years and it's still a blast! Only thing i can say against it is the glitches here and there that make you restart a bit, but other than that, it was nice to shut out the world a bit and relive some time from my teens.

Validé par le jury du Prix Simone de Beauvoir 2024 En voilà un jeu qui fait du bien à la tête et au cœur, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP (2024), refonte HD d’un jeu niche sorti à l’origine en 2012, est un titre rafraîchissant, potache et diablement sexy. Sorti tout droit de l’imagination déjantée des Japonais de chez Grasshopper Manufacture, l’idée ici est d’incarner une pom-pom girl américaine chasseuse de zombies d’à peine 18 ans dans un jeu de baston loufoque à la Devil May Cry ou Bayonetta. A l’aide de votre tronçonneuse, vous allez devoir sauver votre petit-ami et surtout votre ville infestée de zombies dans un scénario complètement décalé et assumé de série B. Le titre est constitué d’un ensemble de niveaux correspondant à différents emplacements dans la vile de San Romero, chaque niveau se termine par un combat de boss et une note est attribuée en fonction de vos facultés au combat (combos, rapidité, réalisation d’objectifs secondaires, etc.). Si la principale attraction reste la plastique avantageuse de l’héroïne, Juliet Starling, largement mise en avant dans les cinématiques ou via des costumes toujours plus sexy, la maniabilité n’est pas en reste avec une système de combat intéressant à base d’enchaînements de touches que ce soit au sol ou en l’air façon Dante dans la célèbre série de Capcom. Alors attention, on ne va pas aussi loin dans les mécaniques mais Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP est suffisamment court et fun pour ne pas pâtir d’un certain manque de profondeur. Heureusement, différentes armes et compétences à votre disposition viendront égayer les combats, je pense notamment à l’invocation de votre petit-ami, la charge sur tronçonneuse ou encore l’arme à distance. En difficulté normal, le jeu est très accessible et vous pourrez avancer jusqu’au dénouement final sans problème. J’ai terminé l’aventure une fois en huit heures environ avec 62% des succès Steam. Pour ce qui est de la qualité intrinsèque de ce remaster, je ne peux m’exprimer car je n’ai jamais fait le jeu à l’époque. Côté technique, c’est évidemment vieillot, on parle d’un jeu de 2012 avec un budget peu conséquent j’imagine mais le rendu HD proposé par les équipes de Dragami Games me semble convaincant. Cette version est dotée de costumes supplémentaires pour votre personnage mais n’ajoute rien de plus à ma connaissance. Mention spéciale à la bande son très rock absolument divine qui colle parfaitement à l’ambiance délirante du jeu. Les joueurs de la première heure se plaignent de la bande originale du remaster. En effet, certaines pistes de l’époque auraient disparu du fait des droits d’auteur (ce sont de vrais morceaux issus de la culture rock/métal). De fait, j’ai installé un patch trouvé dans le Hub de la Communauté Steam afin de retrouver, en trois cliques, la BO d’origine. J'en profite pour dire que j'adore la musique de la boutique : Lollipop (1958) de The Chordettes. Je n'arrêtais pas de la chanter à haute voix pendant mes cessions. En conclusion, c’est très simple, j’ai passé un excellent moment sur ce Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP. Le jeu est amusant, court et drôle. Il est devenu rare de jouer à des jeux aussi « innocent » dans manière dont il aborde certaines thématiques : sexualisation de l’héroïne assumée, peu de scrupule pour la vraisemblance, discussion graveleuse et coquine. Bref, un jeu qui s’en bat les couilles des codes de la pudeur nouvelle de nos sociétés trop féministes et qui se torche avec la gravité d’une cause quelconque. Aucune surprise, Lollipop Chainsaw est jeu d’un ancien temps (2012) et produit par un autre monde (le Japon). Est-ce que je recommande ce titre ? Bien évidemment, pour les amateurs de baston, de zombies et de pom-pom girl en string !
