Locomotive 115

Very fun game, very good. Without going into too much detail here, I think it's a fun neat little game of survival that you can play through in the matter of maybe two hours. It's not easy but also not too hard. In the beginning it may be challenging but once you figure out the mechanics it's quite fun. Only once i found my self wondering why the hell i died there and that was my own fault. It's not a perfect game of course for example you never ever use the brake but for being a small, indie horror game about surviving monsters whilst trying not to bin it is quite fun. If you have the 5-ish Bucks laying around, don't know what to do with them and have a liking for trains, horror or both, then buy the game. And if you do, dont let HIM catch you...

[h1]Spooky Train Sim[/h1] If there's something about me that is fairly obvious if you spend any amount of time with me, is that I like trains. A lot. Especially steam ones. They fun. Choo choo! You may also find out that I'm a utter wimp when it comes to horror. That's why I was at first hesitant to pick this up, but the arcade like approach to footplate operations won me over. And I'm really glad they did. First of all, this is a really fun train driving game. Simplified of course, but the [i]fun[/i] parts are all there: shovelling coal, the whistle, the shotgun... I've dabbled a little in actual train sims previously, but even as a big train nerd I struggle to stay interested for long periods of time. Locomotive 115 on the other hand, with its aforementioned arcade approach, adds that little bit on top to keep me invested and on my toes. I'd never have thought that survival horror mechanics would be an appealing feature to me! On that subject, the horror itself is actually not too bad, and I mean that in a good way. For a beginner [sic: wet blanket] with the genre, I am okay with and to an extent can enjoy scares in small helpings, and in this game they were enough to give me that little hop in my seat and the odd 'Oh my!', but not to keep me awake at night shaking (which, to be clear, I class as a good thing). So, all in all, a unique and fun time that I can see myself coming back to, and might well pick up the concept art book too. I'm chuffed. (Also, not to brag or anything, as of writing I'm at the No. 33 spot on the endless mode leaderboard. Let this moment be remembered as one of my finest achievements in gaming.)

Great short game about surviving the night. Trying to balance opposing objectives is stressful environment with great use of sound cues. The game was forgiving but not too forgiving, striking a balance between fair and fun, Liked it alot.

game good, i enjoyed the little bit i played, it seems like it took the fnaf formula and turned it into train, and did it very well, i was perfectly stressed in keeping up with the coal, and the horn, and the other things i needed to do <3
