About
A boy wakes up alone in the woods surrounded by the husks of burnt-out televisions. After stumbling through traps and pitfalls in the wilderness, he finds a girl locked in the basement of a dark and terrible house with only a music box to keep her company.
This is their story.
You play as Mono, the boy traveling with Six, his enigmatic companion. Although they never knew each other before their story began, they must find a way to cooperate as they try to survive the terrors and secrets of the Pale City.
Mono can call Six to summon her, but she is also quite independent and observant. Pay attention to her cues and work together to open hidden trapdoors, climb giant furniture, and, if you’re feeling a little scared, hold hands as you both navigate a world never meant for children.
The Residents of the Nowhere are enormous, implacable adults like the Teacher or the Hunter who stalk any child Visitor foolish enough to catch their attention. When they’re around, it’s vital to remain quiet and out of sight, or your end will be quick and unpleasant.
At times, hiding won’t be enough. If a Resident is chasing you, you’ll have to run as fast as you can, clambering over any obstacles in your way. Maybe you’ll be able to stay alive long enough to find a place where the danger can’t reach you… for now.
Mono is strong-willed when he has to be. If you’re trapped with an enemy, look for something you can swing to fend them off. It’s tough work for a such a little kid, so time your attacks carefully. You won’t get a chance to make the same mistake twice…
Mono is the only one who can stop the ominous Thin Man, the Resident who seems to be the source of the Signal luring him into the heart of the city. Find the courage to confront your nightmares and just maybe both Mono and Six can get out of this alive.

Little Nightmares II ist ein atmosphärisches Horror-Adventure, in dem ihr als Mono gemeinsam mit Six eine düstere und verstörende Welt voller grotesker Kreaturen und gefährlicher Rätsel durchquert. Little Nightmares II hat mich von Anfang an mit seinem unverbrauchten Setting und seiner unglaublich dichten Atmosphäre begeistert. Die Welt wirkt bedrückend, geheimnisvoll und zieht einen mit jedem Kapitel tiefer in ihren Bann. Besonders das Zusammenspiel zwischen Mono und Six funktioniert hervorragend und sorgt immer wieder für stimmige sowie teilweise überraschend emotionale Momente. Auch optisch ist das Spiel ein echtes Highlight. Der düstere Look wird durch fantastische Licht- und Wettereffekte perfekt ergänzt und sorgt dafür, dass jede Umgebung ihren ganz eigenen Charakter bekommt. Spielerisch steigt der Schwierigkeitsgrad angenehm an, ohne jemals unfair zu werden. Herausforderungen fühlen sich dadurch motivierend an und nicht frustrierend. Einziger größerer Kritikpunkt ist für mich die relativ kurze Spielzeit von etwa fünf bis sechs Stunden. Außerdem lässt das Ende sehr viele Fragen offen. Das passt zwar grundsätzlich zur mysteriösen Inszenierung, für meinen Geschmack bleiben am Ende jedoch einfach zu viele Fragen offen. Fazit: Trotz der kurzen Spielzeit und des sehr offenen Endes ist Little Nightmares II ein außergewöhnliches Horror-Adventure, das vor allem mit Atmosphäre, Inszenierung und seinem einzigartigen Setting punktet. Wer düstere, stilvolle Spiele mit einer Prise Rätsel mag, sollte hier definitiv zugreifen. 🎭 8/10

O jogo consegue misturar terror, suspense e quebra-cabeças de forma impecável, criando uma atmosfera tensa que prende a atenção a cada novo cenário. A direção de arte é fantástica, com ambientes sombrios e criativos que contam parte da história sem precisar de muitas palavras. A trilha sonora e os efeitos sonoros aumentam ainda mais a sensação de inquietação, enquanto os inimigos são memoráveis e tornam cada perseguição emocionante. A relação entre Mono e Six é um dos pontos altos da narrativa, e o final é marcante, deixando uma forte impressão depois dos créditos. É um jogo curto, mas extremamente bem feito e que vale cada minuto. Sem dúvida, um dos melhores jogos de terror e plataforma já lançados.
