About

There once was Elise, a vibrant and ambitious young lass with a big dream – becoming filthy rich. Alas, the stars didn’t seem to reserve much fortune for our protagonist. Elise, who came from humble beginnings, had no choice but to spend her days assisting her fellow neighbours with menial tasks to make a living.
One day, Elise discovers a pair of beautiful, shiny red shoes buried in her backyard – what a surprise! Bewitched, she embarks on a fearful journey that draws her ever closer into the heart of the mysterious Woods.
Will Elise risk it all for the sake of a dream come true, or settle for her humble day-to-day life? The ending of this tale is yours to write…

Little Goody Two Shoes is a horror narrative adventure game, set in a hand-painted fairy tale environment. There are 10 possible endings to fit your choices and actions in the game.
But there’s more than meets the eye here, as you must also manage multiple aspects of Elise’s life in the village to stay alive. Remember, all decisions matter in this story!
During the day, you will need to strengthen Elise’s bonds with her fellow villagers and work to make a living by playing fun minigames.
But once the moon rises, make sure to keep Elise fed, healthy and sane in the multiple encounters with deadly foes as she makes her way further into the Woods.

Kieferberg is a small and devout village, which means Elise will need to carefully navigate her relationships with the villagers to avoid arousing suspicion of witchcraft and be left to die in the Woods as punishment.
At night, Elise can roam around the Woodlands, a mystical and phantasmagorical realm where enigmas and deadly enemies await as she tries to uncover its secrets.
Through a limited day and night cycle Elise will need to carefully manage her needs if she wants to stay alive to finish her tale.
Get struck by Cupid’s arrow and fall in love with the charming bachelorettes of Kieferberg. In this all-female cast of romanceable characters, unlock dreamy date scenes and storylines for each of them.

Reviews
Little Goody Two Shoes is genuinely such a gem. It initially caught my eye with its unique art direction and style, contrasted with the steam tags shown for the game. The art direction for this game is superb, and all of the style changes with the different cutscenes utilizing 2D sprites, full art illustrations and classical animations blend together spectacularly. It does a fantastic job of creating an aesthetic of a classical German folktale book and merges it with some well implemented horror aesthetics. The sound design is also top-notch with a lot of the music being just the right vibe for each scene. (Shoutout to the music that plays during the
"nightmare parade"
scenes and the song Elise sings after
finding the shoes
I did encounter two bugs in particular that when I looked into them online were reported on the steam discussions back in 2024 that have yet to be fixed, which is disappointing. First the bug with the dialogue at the well which just required rebooting the game and another at the inn merchant on the final day which nearly hard-locked me as I didn't have enough food. Besides those two bugs, however, I had no issues with the game. I ended up replaying through the game to see all the multiple endings for myself, and while I thoroughly enjoyed 95% of them, there were a couple questions left unanswered and a good ending which I didn't care for (
Elise and Leb going back to Keiferberg
). The couple questions I felt were unanswered were
what was Holle's deal, exactly
and what exactly changed the illustration on the tapestry. All that said, I really enjoyed this game and would heavily recommend it to people for it's unique art direction and story and for people who
just like GL in general
. Little Goody Two Shoes is the type of game which will end up making me follow the developer's upcoming projects and seek out what they've worked on in the past as well.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This game is masterfully crafted. The presentation of every part of the story is handled so well, and the town is complex and full of character and life. Elise stands out as a protagonist with her 'selfish' dream and how she pursues it. There's so much background lore and histories between the characters, and questions to ask about the nature of what is occurring in the town. The puzzles are well done, and the resource management aspect of the game adds a lot of challenge and forces you to really keep track of how you spend what little money you have. Food, health, and sanity are all ever-present pressures, adding into the desperation and drive of Elise. This is just such a charming game. These devs have an attention to detail in the worlds they create, and a passion to make all the art, music, and writing fit together to capture your mind.
BEST GAME EVER LEBKUCHEN4EVER
Such an amazingly charming game. Beautiful art and presentation with a lot of loving detail. Fun mini games and survival sequences. Does a great job of capturing the feeling of trying to live day by day off of scraps in between dealing with otherworldly horrors and Sapphic romance, a great pairing for horror games. I absolutely recommend this game to anyone who's interested.
I like this game! Although its pretty confusing at first but the guides on here help a lot, ive only played for about an hour or two but I'd recommend it if you like story and puzzle games! I'm not sure theres combat if any at all, so far theres been none. Although I despise the "kiss the rat" minigame/"chore", its very annoying and just buggy. no matter if I press the right button or spam it, it always seems to be too late to where I lose the game which is really annoying. Note though I play PC keyboard, I have no controller
My first impression is that this is perhaps the most gorgeous games I have ever played. I applaud you AstralShift, you've impressed me yet again.
It's a shame this game doesn't have the same level of appreciation and attention as other classics such as Mad Father or the witch's house; everything about this game, the storytelling, the beautiful artstyle, the music and the atmosphere are genuinely so well crafted, and the plot is way better constructed, along with more branching paths. My only complaint would be that some puzzles of the game often aren't too obvious, and since this game doesn't have a huge fanbase, it's hard to find solutions online. Some of those can even be frustrating, but oftentimes some of them felt like I should've figured them out earlier, so make of that what you will. Overall, it's hard for me to not recommend this game. The characters are charming, the story is intricate, most gameplay elements are really fun (except the kiss the rat minigame, I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate that one), and Kiefsbrief feels so magical and fairytale-y, a great contrast to the perfectly creepy woodlands.
Amazing quality game. Increíble art, persona like gameplay loop, good creepy moments. A what if a rpg maker horror game was done with the resources and quality of an AA.
Awesome game
A really great game .And really good art and art styles from the old anime of the 80s and 90s. And another highlight is that the soundtrack is also very good ; I loved every moment of it. It’s one of the best GL/yuri games I’ve played lately. I can't wait to see what the developers cook up next for this universe and their other titles—and I still need to play Pocket Mirror. It’s an excellent game made by a studio from Portugal, which is a rarity. I can't wait to get the physical edition when it comes out.
