For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. This game is a good test of memory, vision and dexterity using both hands (mouse and key controls).
Very disturbing but very good game

First of all, a big thank you to the developers for this game. With it, they are serving a growing and increasingly passionate fanbase, and I truly hope there will be more games in this style in the future. As for my review: like most liminal horror games, the fear factor really depends on how far you are willing to immerse yourself in the experience. The deeper you let yourself sink into it, the stronger the emotional response will be. That brings me to my first major positive point: the atmosphere is excellent. The shifts between light and darkness, color and blackness, comfort and depression create a real emotional rollercoaster. The graphics, as is often the case with games like this, are highly realistic and detailed, which adds a lot to the overall mood. There were so many moments where I kept asking myself, How is this going to end? What is the twist? Some of my own theories included a drowning accident, an injury on a playground, or some kind of trauma connected to strict parents and the consequences of having a messy room. The ending disappointed me a little. When you spend several hours with a game and start building a connection to the character, you naturally hope for a satisfying conclusion. I was expecting something more emotionally rewarding or at least a clearer ending that gives you the feeling of relief, like: “The horror is finally over. It was all just a dream.” The chapter with the pools and slides was, in my opinion, very difficult. That may partly be because I personally got lost a lot, but it still felt frustrating at times. That said, it also made it much more satisfying when I finally slid into the Toy Rooms. In general, the game felt a bit too pool-focused for me. I would have liked to see more variety in the environments, especially more rooms set in places like the school. The level with the toys near the end, which seems to be fairly new, was a nice change of pace and definitely creepy in its own way. Unfortunately, I did not fully understand the logic or meaning behind that section. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this game to anyone who enjoys Dreamcore, liminal horror, or games with a “Pools” aesthetic.
it's just more pools. why is it always pool rooms? Something like this needs an always run option. Needs less pools, and get rid of the entity in the pink rooms. these things are always ruined by a spooky monster out to eat out your butthole! Also why the hell was there an actual Cloud Flower from Super Mario Galaxy 2 in the game? You can't do that
Liminal Shift makes me so damn nervous, which is how I know it's good horror. There may not be any monsters to jump out and scare you, but the process of entering a dead end and then turning around to leave only to find the door has vanished.... Is a new kind of freaky that I deeply enjoy. It may not be verified on steam deck but it plays just fine, I think. Check this one out if you want to wander around and get lost.
