The best thing I can say is Limerick has some of the most tense moments ever. Go!
First impressions on this game have already given me the feelings of a love child of the first Bioshock game and Amnesia dark descent. The puzzles I've faced so far have been actually fun! My encounters of what lurks in the halls have been terrifying. The audio and level designs have been keeping me on edge. The story is full of mystery that you need to seek out. Also Limerick needs kisses on his forehead. That's a pro gamer tip to those who want to beat him.

What can I say about this amazing game. It is so good. I enjoyed every moment of it and I can’t wait to continue to enjoy playing it. It is so so fun. Tried it on the hardest difficulty and it truly was a challenge. This dev really put their all into this game and I can’t wait to see more that they do.
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1941322569 Gameplay I enjoyed what i played so far. Have not gotten to hard area yet but i bet its goto get hard. Review might update when i do.
One of the best games I have played so far this year. The Puzzles aren't overly complex but have just enough that need to be done to raise the anxiety factor. Very much Psychological and creepy without the gore. I have only encountered 1 bug and it was 1 set of ammo I couldn't pick up but there is so many resources in the game it wasn't necessary to survive. The graphics and the music keep you immersed in the tone and atmosphere very nicely. The story has been good to uncover and the game does well in explaining what you have to do so you aren't feeling lost. There is higher difficulties for those more daring and for replay-ability.
I liked the game overall but you have to take into consideration it is an indie game. It is not a complicated game but it also doesn't need to be, it's good in it's own right (if that makes sense). I enjoyed the puzzles, not too difficult but challenging enough that when it clicks I went "yes, got it". The Panic Rooms are exactly that
many times I misclicked on the startbutton and barely making it in on time ;-)
Really loved the world and the story. When I finished the game my first thoughts were "Sequel when?"
Limerick: Cadence Mansion borrows on the classic design of Myst and The 7th Guest by creating a visually stunning 3D world to explore, discovering and solving dozens of puzzles, and actually engaging in some combat. There is a bit of resource gathering that feeds into crafting upgrades for your weapons and abilities, but for the most part this is pure adventure and puzzle-solving with brief moments of self-defense. And the puzzles are no joke either. Some are easy, some will require a bit of thought, and others will melt your brain until you Google the solution. Thankfully, Limerick allows you to tailor the game to your desired experience with one of the first questions having you choose from Proofreader (normal), Essayist (easy), and Master of Writ (hard). This mostly determines how many puzzles you can bypass in both the regular game and during Limerick combat. Yes, this game actually blends puzzles into the actual boss fights. I’ll admit to pulling that Skip Puzzle lever on more than a few occasions, not because the puzzles were too hard but rather annoying or time consuming – something you don’t want in a game with a focus on puzzles. There are only so any puzzle ideas to go around, and while everything here is totally original from a design and artistic standpoint, many of the core mechanics to many of the puzzles are common ideas found in countless other puzzle games or even mini games from larger titles like Tomb Raider and Uncharted. if you are after an FPS game that fuses Horror ambience and puzzles then this game is a must have! Albeit it is a simple Game from a Solo Developer i must say that i am impressed with the lore and detail that is in this game! are there a few downsides yes there is but that is the same with all games (including AAA games). a few patch updates would fix some things and change a few things around like the Tab Button which brings up "quests" could be changed so its easier to track which quest you are doing as well as implementing an options part to the tab button to change volume and ETC mid game. An Auto save Feature may be handy but that's my opinion. as well as visible changes to the pistol and machine gun when you level them up and there is a skin in the game that would be cool for the pistol!. But overall i would recommend this game to any one as it is a fun game filled with puzzles and lore and a few anxiety inducing moments and chases (limerick in a bumper car). Thank you Jenito Studios for an an amazing game! Geen86
I massively enjoyed playing through this game! I've done a little review on YT showcasing my first impression without spoiling anything. Also, highly recommend if you like horror, heavily focused on lore with combat and puzzles! https://youtu.be/pdGHpMn_z1w?si=W2h9F7pXrt5OvZ9M
Je n'ai pas eu beaucoup le temps de tester le jeu mais la premier heur et cool et donne envie de faire la suite. Un melange entre portal, bioshock et saw.
