Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is SO much fun, I've been playing this game for 2 years and am wondering why is this game not as popular as it should be? One of the best features is the cross-play multiplayer which I haven't tried yet. But most games that are both on Xbox and on Steam usually don't support cross-play. Also if you see my specs I would also have you know that I run high/frame breaking graphics on and run at a smooth 60 FPS.

Lightyear Frontier is a farm sim with adventure elements. The plot is simple: Earth is completely screwed, so you fly to another planet to grow wheat and help out fellow outcasts along the way. Playtime: I tapped out after 13 hours, but if you're aiming to finish every single task, it could easily drag on for 50–70 hours. The Short Answer: Is It Worth Buying? Who knows.Personally, if you want to meditate and actually use your brain from time to time, you're better off buying Satisfactory. Lightyear Frontier is only worth it if you specifically want to zone out while farming. Mechanics 6/10 They give you a giant mech to run around in, which can transform into a car, a tractor, and a harvester. The mech can fly, but it does a pretty terrible job at it. On top of that, it constantly takes damage, so get ready to patch it up regularly. Gathering resources isn’t hard, but moving across the map is just plain tedious, even when you're in vehicle mode. There are crafting benches available to cook up various upgrades and items. Automation and Progression 2/10 Reaching automation takes a solid 20 hours of pure grinding because the game constantly demands more and more resources—one minute it wants 1k wheat, the next it's cabbage. While automation does exist, getting to it (if you play at a relaxed pace) takes about 20–25 hours, and even then, it’s honestly pretty subpar. Overall, progression feels incredibly slow, and tool upgrades feel more like a joke—you barely even notice them. Farming and Crops 5/10 The plants themselves are pretty cool. There’s a soil mechanic featuring 3 different types of land, which directly dictates what you’ll grow: a standard crop, a mutation, or just a basic plant. It’s a neat concept that forces you to constantly rotate your crops, but in reality, it becomes a total chore—especially when the game demands a very specific crop type for shipping. Interface and CustomizationCosmetics and decorations are in the game, but they just sort of exist. The annoying part is that the game practically forces you to use and place them, otherwise you straight-up won't get a necessary buff. Story and NPCs 2/10 The story is virtually nonexistent, and the NPCs you do encounter feel incredibly bland and forgettable. Music 4/10 There is some basic music; it doesn’t actively annoy you, so I guess that’s a win. Overall Score: 65/100
I hopped into this thinking id really like this game as the art looked really strong and I was prepared for some exploration and building a farm. I only played for 2 hours as I didnt want to exceed the refund window as I was very on the fence before Id even started. Id expected to be cleaning up the Planet and building up my farmstead. Exploring the world looking for upgrades. But to be honest what I got was completely different. The tutorial last like 6-8 minutes and sort of gets you started but there isnt really a whole lot that drives you forward to introduce new mechanics. I know 2 hours isnt a lot of time in a game like this. But the world just felt empty as hell other than some buildings id placed down and the fact you can only queue about 3-4 items per crafting bench sort of took away the fun. The mech didnt feel like it added much other than looking cool. Just a shallow experience overall with not much on the surface other than looking pretty. Just a bit meh tbh. Also the frame rates were all over the place and I have a pretty good PC that runs most stuff. Changing graphical options made no difference,
Good game, I recommend! It is cozy, no rush, and with a little imagination you can make resource grinding so much easier with pipes later on. But do not rush, take your time. Meantime I read some of the negative reviews and it gives me the feeling some people either have no imagination on what to do with the features in game, or just lazy to learn a bit or understand a bit the game. Other just try to rush the game and are mad about not being able to rush at the speed they wish...did people forget how to play and enjoy a game? Take your time, do not rush, and try to figure out yourself how to do things before rushing to internet, to allow yourself moments of satisfaction when you figure something out on your own. Valid for every game by the way. And do not stop until you make a small village or a city with office buildings, even a lakeside resort paradise, in the game :)
To put simply this game is just boring. Resources are spread way apart, you have limited capabilities to carry things, no meaningful fast travel, and it seems like the game really is just about farming which takes grinding. I am sure at some point you get the right mech upgrades to make moving faster, but as much as I wanted to like this game I just got super bored and felt like everything was just a chore. They could salvage the game by fixing a few things but we shall see.
Воплощение кози игр. Мало механик, много ненужного фарма, всё ради того, чтобы спасти природу, которая не сильно то и меняется после "очищения". Кажется, что ты раз за разом занимаешься ничем и ни для чего.
If you are looking for a game that oversells and under delivers, then boy is this the game for you! Every single thing in this game is plagued with bugs and/or lack of attention to detail. The trailers show this glorious gameplay with an abundance of features and a seemingly 'go anywhere do anything' vibe of a decent open world survival game. This game is advertised as v0.8 but it plays like a v0.2, the devs have an ungodly amount of work ahead of them if they think they can release v1.0 at any point in time with in the next 12 months. Come back in 2028 and the game might be playable. For now, please do yourself a favour and skip this game. The straw that broke this camels back was placing a water tank. then not being able to connect the output pipe to it, i kept getting 'invalic location' so I placed the water tank again... ang again... and again.... in the open, on a foundation, it didn't matter where. I'll probably be back in 5 years to see if it gets any better or just dies.
