Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I wanted this game to be good but sadly i cant recommend it to anyone yet. Though the concept looks cool - survival game where you have a mech what it actually boils down to is replanting the same 3 types of crop to insane levels. first delivery 5 crop, okay cool. next one 10, its fine we progressing and when it got 2500 crops request i uninstalled this game and wrote this review.

It's fun but the progression is really wonky. You don't get any of the automation till really late in the game and even then it gets to the point where you need to make like 20k berries for one planet. Hopefully there will be more into automation and sorting soon because current automation for creation and storage is very weird. I can't an oil press put things into a chest and then have the chest pump the oil into generators. Also the creator automation machine needs to have some ability to set what you want to make.
Noticed that almost every "not recommended " had less than 24 hours of gametime, that being said, play the game the long way. Play the game NOT with the intent to finish it right away, and you can have so much fun. On startup it says " this game is in testing" so why people are complaining about it not being done bewilders me. Lightyear Frontier is fun, colorful, creative, and expanding more with every update. I would describe it as "the cozy version of Satisfactory", with over 300 hrs on both games mentioned, lightyear Frontier has been a fun game to play around my SO because shes constantly saying things like "awh, the cows (Mox) are so cute" or "the crops you farm are so pretty". I like farming sim, I like building factories, I like not having pressure but still get challenged, I like resource management, so I love Lightyear Frontier.
"Let's make a game that'supposed to be fun and relaxed, and then have tornados spawn ontop of players while they're out exploring, follow them around while they try to evade, then smash their mech to bits and force them to spend 45 minutes just to recover their stuff." This game is a special kind of stupid.
6 hours i did the same stuff over and over and over i got crumbles for it, i was able to barely endure only because meanwhile i was listening to an audiobook. Now @ 6.9 hours is so boring i cannot do it anymore, i'll come back in 6 months or so maybe something will change. So far the numbers to reach the goals are REALLY overtuned for the available technologies. The rest of the game is good.
Was a good game. Now far too complicated and annoying. If you want Satisfactory, you know where it is.
I absolutely adored this game when it first came out. It was small and cozy. The map may have been a little small but it was hand crafted and well planned out. The goal was to make a farm and slowly clean out a noxious slime to uncover more secrets about the previous civilisation. It wasnt too complex and grindy to find a goal and slowly chip away at it or just take some time off to improve the farm and put some decorations up. I came back to it a year later when some more updates came out and it was completely different. I couldnt even play for 20 minutes before getting bored. Been waiting on 1.0 to see if it got fixed. I have tried the 1.0 beta and it was not any better, worse even. So read up some of the notes of the changes. The map is 9 times bigger but its so much worse in everyway. There are just so many areas that are just sheer cliffs and are massive. As in run for 5 - 10 minutes to run around these circle sheer cliffs until you find the one road up. Take the road up and it just more flat bland areas to explore with more cliffs. Previously it was fun to explore and find areas that were locked off and you would farm and meet new frontiersmen that would help you advance. I didnt try this out but I did walk around the map for 40 mins. I imagine you could just explore the entire map now over a couple hours and collect all the seeds you need straight away. Now you have to grind out so much farming and shoot it out on a cannon. The loop isnt fun or rewarding now. Just grind the farm to meet delivery milestones to get new items to fulfil new milestones. Previously you would get new people join you on a farm, they were fun to interact with. from the 4-5 hours on the new branch I only encountered a merchant that comes down and sells crap. The new building system feels so unbelievably clunky. It was not fun to build a house. I did the bare minimum to get a roof up to meet a mission for a bed thing. Was not enjoyable. Then I got a mission to put a roof over a furnace because it would improve the efficiency of the furnace?? I have no idea how that works but it was so miserable to do and from what I could see this was the new direction of the game. Automation and pipes to make super massive farms to meet the grindy milestones. Originally you had to make a small farm and it was slow but the mech made parts faster. You found upgrades out exploring and unlocking new areas which made the farming way easier. You could then make bigger farms but most importantly the gameplay loop in legacy was fun. This new gameplay loop feels like a crappy satisfactory. I honestly thought I should just play satisfactory again for the 5th time instead of this brand new game. Now its grindy and I have to have a second screen with a wiki to try and remember crop rotations to either get max yield or mutations I need to meet another milestone. Its no longer fun its just a second job. Weird to change the entire gameplay loop of a game to make some players who wanted to make massive farms. Even in legacy I could have made a massive farm, way more than I ever needed. Why the map had to be expanded 9 times bigger doesnt make sense. Story seems to be completely gone from the new version. The old one had a AI satellite as a companion. Made the world seem fun and not completely empty, that and the other people that would join you. Such a disappointment. If you dont vibe on the current version try switching to the legacy branch and try that out. I even went back to legacy version to make sure I wasnt being too hard on the new version. Nope, legacy was so much more fun to play
The first hour of gameplay never really changes the games wants this big automated farm idea but by time you get it you have burnt out onc ore gameplay loop
