Based on The Lord of the Rings motion picture trilogy, LEGO® The Lord of the Rings follows the original story-lines of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, taking players through the epic story events re-imagined with the humor and endl

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

BROOOOO this game is, like, REVOLUTIONARY for lego games! its open world, has a big ass map with fast travel, is voice acted (with i personally really like for lotr), and its goofy as hell in its classic lego game fashion! i seriously love this game and its not just the nostalgia of orignally playing this on the wii!
Sam being the highest op character is the most accurate part of the game

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

the best Lego game hands down, also graphically aged like wine which is insane
The game is buggy. I have to reset the 14th level because I accidentally equip two of the armors on Frodo Baggins. It is less of a bug but more of a feature that should have been in the game for convenience. Level 14th is the 3rd level I have to reset due to a bug. Level 9th and Level 10th are the two before. I have to beat the big ass spider again, I have to achieve true adventurer again, I have to spend 30 minutes trying to complete a level again because of a minor mistake I made. I spent my time making this review just to express my frustration.
Reseña de LEGO® The Lord of the Rings™

Anyone who's played this game knows the brown platforming bricks are your biggest enemy. Sauron quivers in fear at the mention of them.
definetly best lego game i play so far. balanced combination of puzzles and fightes with incredible sound track. 5/5
Let me just say that I don't have nostalgia for this game. I only played LEGO starwars as a kid. That being said, this game is actually really fun and polished. Plays smooth, uses some audio from the movies, puts a funny spin on a lot of scenes from the movies. It's a great LotR game, a great LEGO game, a great game. Really fun. Also I played more hours offline on steamdeck. That's another thing. It's steamdeck certified, (I play it exclusively on deck) and is perfect for deck. Controls are great, and runs flawlessly.
As a huge Lord of the Rings fan, I really enjoyed the experience. The use of voice lines from the film are to the games advantage and disadvantage as you get a more accurate depiction of the films with the cost of very little to none jokes during the cutscenes. The 100% journey I'd say is somewhat worth it, though it is made up of heaps and heaps of fetch quests. This is the only LEGO game I have fully finished, and it feels somewhat satisfying for it to be this one. My only major gripe is that there were a few stutters and crashes here and there, but it is quite old, so it doesn't really bring down how I feel about the game itself. Great on sale!
