LEGO DC Super-Villains prende la classica, e a volte stantia, formula dei giochi LEGO e la ribalta completamente, mettendoci nei panni dei peggiori criminali dell'universo DC. La Justice League è sparita, sostituita da un misterioso "Sindacato della Giustizia" che puzza di truffa lontano un miglio. E indovinate un po'? Toccherà a Joker, Lex Luthor, Harley Quinn e soci salvare la Terra (perché ehi, è il loro pianeta da conquistare, non permetteranno a dei tizi di un'altra dimensione di rubargli il lavoro). La trama è brillante, genuinamente divertente e scritta con un amore smisurato per i fumetti. [h1] IL VOSTRO VILLAIN, LE VOSTRE REGOLE [/h1] Questo è il vero capolavoro del gioco: l'editor del personaggio. In tutti gli altri giochi LEGO, il personaggio personalizzato era una mezza delusione da usare a tempo perso nel free-roam. Qui no. Il vostro personaggio (la "Recluta") è il protagonista silenzioso e assoluto della campagna principale. La personalizzazione è fuori di testa: potete scegliere aspetto, animazioni, armi, colori dei raggi di energia e persino da dove spararli (mani, occhi, petto). Man mano che proseguite nella storia, assorbirete nuovi poteri, diventando un'arma di distruzione di massa su misura. È fottutamente appagante. [h1] UN ROSTER INFINITO E IL DOPPIAGGIO MAGISTRALE[/h1] La quantità di personaggi sbloccabili è mostruosa e pesca a piene mani anche dagli angoli più oscuri della lore DC. Sentire Mark Hamill doppiare il Joker o il compianto Kevin Conroy dare la voce a Batman in un gioco LEGO alza l'asticella a livelli cinematografici. È una lettera d'amore per i fan storici. [h1] UN FREE-ROAM DENSO E APPAGANTE [/h1] Se avete amato l'esplorazione di LEGO City Undercover, qui vi sentirete a casa, ma con i superpoteri. L'hub world è immenso e fonde insieme Gotham, Metropolis, Arkham e persino Apokolips. C'è un netto stacco visivo e d'atmosfera tra le città, e spostarsi volando, correndo a super-velocità o sfrecciando sui veicoli è una gioia. La mappa è letteralmente tappezzata di enigmi ambientali, sfide, gare e mattoncini d'oro. Prendersi una pausa dalla storia principale per devastare la città o risolvere i puzzle usando i poteri combinati dei vari villain è una droga che vi porterà via decine di ore senza che ve ne accorgiate. [h1] CONCLUSIONE [/h1] LEGO DC Super-Villains è il canto del cigno della formula classica dei giochi LEGO (prima del cambio di rotta con la Skywalker Saga). È rifinito, ricco di contenuti, sfacciato e dannatamente divertente. Spegnere il cervello, abbracciare il caos e spaccare tutto nei panni dei cattivi non è mai stato così soddisfacente. Che siate fan sfegatati della DC o semplici amanti dei platform esplorativi completisti, questo è un Must Buy assoluto. Mettetevi la maschera e andate a fare danni.
