The demo allows you to play through the first 2 dungeons which is more than I expected. Also once you get a dungeon leveled you can speed through pretty quickly. Lots of upgrades loot and party management here, once you are set let one of your teams loose in an dungeon.
Its an OK game to scratch the dungeon diving itch without requiring the time to do so....Overall I like the game but it feels a bit too easy....You get so much loot it wears you out...I pretty much just auto sold everything after a certain point....Gear is basically just a number....if it says one piece is 1 better than something else, I guess we just take its word for it and equip best.

還不錯玩 不過技能與裝備弄的有點雜
This pretty fun and addicting to play while doing other stuff. Theres not much gameplay but it has fun party creation and build making and to slowly progress your guild/characters higher and higher. It is a idle game so not ment to have much gameplay, just something to add to your daily stuff for more color/distraction, lol
Legends of Dragaea: Idle Dungeons Prelude is a really interesting mix of idle RPG systems and traditional dungeon crawling, and I liked how much depth is hiding underneath the simple presentation. Instead of directly controlling every attack, I am building an adventuring guild, choosing how my heroes develop and sending them into dangerous dungeons. I found that combination surprisingly addictive because there is always another upgrade or team decision to think about. The classless skill system is one of my favorite parts. My characters are not locked into a single traditional role, so I can experiment with melee, ranged and magical abilities and build teams around whatever combinations seem strongest. I enjoyed this because it gives me more freedom than a typical RPG where a character's identity is decided before I even start playing. The guild system adds another layer that I did not expect. I can develop the guild, unlock better services and grow the settlement around it while recruiting more adventurers. I liked how the town and the guild are connected to my overall progress because it makes my victories feel useful beyond simply gaining better equipment. The stronger my guild becomes, the more options I have for future expeditions. The dungeon combat is mostly automated, but I still have plenty of decisions to make beforehand. Choosing my team, abilities and equipment matters, and watching a carefully prepared group handle a difficult encounter gives the game a satisfying payoff. The first person presentation is also a nice change from the usual top down idle RPG view, even though the overall visuals remain fairly minimalist. My biggest issue is that the Prelude naturally feels incomplete. I get a good taste of the systems, but the adventure stops before the larger world and progression have had enough time to fully develop. Some of the automation also means I am spending more time preparing for battles than actually participating in them, which could disappoint anyone looking for a more active dungeon crawler. Even so, I really enjoyed the amount of customization available within such a small experience. The ability to build teams around different combinations of skills gives me a lot to experiment with, and the guild management keeps the progression moving forward. I also like that the idle elements complement the RPG systems instead of completely replacing them. Overall, Legends of Dragaea: Idle Dungeons Prelude is a very promising free RPG with a clever combination of automation, dungeon crawling and guild management. I liked experimenting with character builds and watching my guild develop into something more capable. It feels more like an introduction than a complete adventure, but the foundation is strong enough that I would definitely be interested in playing the larger experience. Rating: 7.2/10
Игра "Legends of Dragaea: Idle Dungeons Prelude" оказалась приятным сюрпризом.
MESMO SENDO UMA DEMO, ESSE JOGO É SIMPLES, FANTÁSTICO E MUITO BOM!
Pretty fun! I had a good time developing my party and progressing through the first two dungeons. Eventually it was more than I was willing to maintain, but that's mostly a function of me preferring offline idle games. Would recommend!
The Good: As of 8 hours in, my whole guild has full legendaries/unique legendaries and there's nothing left for me to do. So far good demo. Final fantasy-esk sound and feel The Bad: The game is not worth paying for it, even if it is a measly $10. Developers like this could have easily gone with a more accessible free game with micro transactions and it would have blown up in the category it's trying to portray. Make the full game free, make skins for characters and weapons, add global ranking and/or a 24-48 hour tournament that happens every other day like tap titan, ect ect, profit way more and have way more people play your game. I pay good premium in the games I do play, but I wouldn't spend a single cent to "buy" an idle game.
Legends of Dragaea: Idle Dungeons Prelude is an inviting sample of an RPG that blends traditional dungeon crawling with the steady progression of an idle game. Developed by Blast Programming and published by GIGATANK 3000, this Prelude is designed as an introduction to the larger adventure rather than a complete standalone campaign. It provides access to the opening portion of the experience, including two dungeons and their bosses, while introducing the character development, guild management, combat, equipment, and progression systems that form the foundation of the full game. The ability to carry progress forward gives the Prelude additional value because time invested in building a guild does not have to feel temporary. The adventure takes place in Dragaea, a mysterious continent that attracts the protagonist following a strange dream. Instead of relying on constant storytelling and lengthy dialogue, the game quickly directs attention toward exploration and progression. Players establish an adventuring guild, recruit heroes, assemble teams, and send them into dangerous locations in search of equipment and greater power. Its first-person dungeon perspective recalls old-school dungeon RPGs, but the idle mechanics make the experience considerably more relaxed. It is a combination suited to players who enjoy RPG development without wanting to manually control every moment of combat and exploration. Character customization is one of its most interesting qualities. Six races are available, while the conventional idea of permanently locking characters into classes is replaced by a flexible skill-based system. There are 22 combat and utility skills covering different approaches such as melee combat, ranged attacks, and magic. More than 25 abilities further expand the possibilities, with characters able to equip five abilities at a time. This allows players to shape heroes according to the needs of their party rather than simply following predetermined class templates. Experimenting with combinations becomes an important part of optimizing the guild. The party system also provides room for long-term planning. Standard teams contain three heroes, and players can eventually maintain multiple groups for different activities. Larger boss encounters can bring together as many as nine characters, making a developed roster genuinely useful rather than merely decorative. Expeditions reinforce the idle aspect by allowing heroes to continue making progress while the game is not actively running. This makes the overall structure well suited to shorter sessions in which players check progress, reorganize equipment, adjust abilities, and prepare teams before allowing them to continue adventuring. Combat gains additional depth through the Bestiary. Repeatedly defeating enemies improves the guild's knowledge of those creatures, gradually providing advantages against them. It is an effective progression mechanic because repeated encounters contribute toward something beyond ordinary experience and loot. Bosses serve as larger tests of party development, encouraging players to pay attention to equipment, abilities, team composition, and overall strength instead of depending entirely on passive advancement. Loot collection is another major part of the experience. The larger progression system includes more than 200 pieces of equipment, weapons, accessories, consumables, and other useful items. Equipment can possess varying rarities and statistical properties, creating an incentive to continue searching for improved drops. Weapons and magical equipment can also be upgraded, so valuable discoveries do not necessarily become useless as soon as another item appears. The resulting loop of exploring, collecting, comparing, upgrading, and reorganizing equipment provides much of the satisfaction expected from a progression-focused RPG. Guild development complements character advancement by giving the player a broader objective. The organization begins on a relatively small scale but can expand through upgrades, improved facilities, increased adventurer capacity, and additional services. The surrounding settlement develops alongside this growth, reinforcing the feeling that successful dungeon expeditions are producing visible progress outside individual character statistics. Customization options for heroes and the guild banner add some personal identity to what could otherwise have been a purely numerical management system. The Prelude's most obvious weakness is its limited amount of playable content. With only two dungeons and their bosses, it cannot fully demonstrate the long-term depth of a game designed around gradual progression. Players who become invested in optimizing their characters may reach the boundaries of this introductory edition just as the systems begin to become more interesting. On the other hand, that limitation is understandable because the purpose is to provide a substantial preview of the main experience. Progress transfer also makes reaching the end much less frustrating for anyone intending to continue with the complete version. Its visual presentation is intentionally modest and functional. The 2D artwork and interface prioritize clear information rather than elaborate animation or cinematic spectacle. That works reasonably well for an RPG built around statistics, equipment management, party construction, and incremental progression. Players looking for fast action or a heavily cinematic adventure may find it too restrained, while fans of optimization, idle games, dungeon crawlers, and steadily increasing numbers should find considerably more to appreciate. Steam Deck compatibility is currently best regarded as unofficial or unverified rather than formally Steam Deck Verified. The game's relatively straightforward controls and modest presentation may make handheld play feasible, but players should not interpret that as a guarantee of flawless Deck operation. Interface readability, input behavior, and compatibility can also change as the game receives updates, so the absence of an official compatibility rating should be kept in mind. As an introduction, Legends of Dragaea: Idle Dungeons Prelude does a good job of presenting the appeal of its larger progression system without demanding an upfront commitment. Flexible character building, multiple parties, Bestiary advancement, extensive loot, guild expansion, expeditions, and idle progression fit together naturally. Its limited dungeon selection prevents it from feeling like a complete RPG, but as a free gateway into the full experience, it offers enough mechanical substance to determine whether its methodical approach to adventuring is appealing.
