About
Play as the noblest of fantasy heroes: an insurance adjuster. But when an ancient enemy threatens life as you know it, you must leave your cushy desk behind and step onto the battlefield. Deny a claim. Save the world.
Ledgerbound is a hilarious, narrative-driven tactical RPG/dating sim filled with all your favorite epic fantasy activities: battling evil enemies, filling out paperwork, rescuing your company from financial ruin, pursuing HR-approved relationships, and more!
When the world’s greatest heroes are cut down by an ancient enemy, your company is on the hook for paying out their life insurance claims. That is, unless you can defeat the enemy yourself, proving that those other heroes were simply underprepared—claim denied, baby!
Enjoy punchy dialogue, character-based comedy, and grounded, meaningful conversations that’ll make you fall in love. Or lust. Ideally both.
Engage in strategically dense, grid-based combat to overcome a variety of foes. Customize your team with hundreds of unique abilities, equip corporate swag that boosts your stats, and choose your characters’ promotion paths to unlock powerful new skills.
Just like in real life, time is limited and your choices matter—will you spend your evenings nurturing your blossoming relationships, or will you burn the midnight oil to improve your skills as a tactician? Remember, whatever decisions you make, you’re stuck with forever. FOREVER.
Recruit a ragtag group of weird yet lovable characters, fully voiced by a talented cast of actors who kept saying “wow, this is the horniest thing I’ve ever done.” Then fill out the appropriate HR paperwork so you can get up on them.

As a romance/dialogue game this was a big step up over other options I have seen. I really enjoyed the option to have "platonic friendship" supports that were meaningful and still deep connections. Many games do this an injustice by having all end rank supports be romantic. Overall great writing. The combat is relatively simply with the only really interesting mechanics coming quite late in the game, but still enjoyable enough as a fire-emblem like game. Don't buy it for the combat though, but it for the sarcastic story and fun support dialogs.
I gotta write a review for this game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it's gas. I'm not even like, a tactical-game/visual novel type person and I was gonna give it a go for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles and then ended up staying for the surprisingly engaging and satisfying rock-paper-scissors-esque combat and the INCREDIBLE characters and chemistry. Game is worth, its goofy and charming and knows how to be silly and unserious while respecting the story it wants to tell. Lowkey my GOTY

What can I say. I love HR and working overtime.
One of the funniest games I’ve ever played and the voice acting is phenomenal. It deserves consideration for GOTY awards.
charming characters, great art, wonderful voice acting
Ledgerbound was quite a please t adventure, the world building was great, and so was the story. Companions are the highlights of the game, and I like how you can focus a couple or go for them all, especially that hot piece of ass Jazz. I am hoping they add in NG+ because there’s no way to reach the upper limits of the rewards once you hit the Shareholder tier.

Einfach nur Genial
Can romance the dragon 10/10 funny down to the game files
The story is very whimsical but can be clever and fun. The battle mechanics are strategic and interesting. There are some glaring negatives however. The settings are barebones with no text speed and animation settings. The rolling text is noticeably distracting while trying to read the dialogue and you can accidentally click pass short dialogue although you can review the dialogue history. The fatigue mechanic called burnout tries to be novel but ends up making no sense. You can't rest characters in the early chapters and if you lose a chapter or fail to get a star which can easily happen with random spawning enemies you get a fatigue penalty. If you want to perfect a chapter you have to replay it which costs fatigue and stamina. And the most annoying thing is how the fatigue is implemented. Your character straight up gets a huge flat nerf where you even get your abilities locked. This makes future chapters harder as your fatigue stacks up with no efficient way to reduce it. You're forced to either play perfect by save scumming or ignore your main character entirely and try to make your companions are strong as possible. It takes away the fun of figuring out the chapter though trial and error which is why it doesn't make sense to me.
