I love this game the same way i loved dispatch i hope you keep up the good work and bring us more masterpieces like this team OmniMegaSuperCorp 9,5/10 game!

game is a lot of fun and the characters are all interesting. I highly recommend the game

Storyline is very engaging and never stale. The fact that this is a fully narrated game draws you in. Love the flirty tension and the dialogue is hilarious (although needs some volume mastering)--it's rare to get an actual lol from me, but it happened a few times. Animation is great, music is good, sound design is great, and voice acting is great. The fights are actually challenging and i really appreciate the thoughtfulness of how to "re-do" the fights during camp and how it tied into the prologue/FTUE. Overall a very fun use of my free time and would absolutely recommend playing this super clever game.

J'ai bien aimé c'était très cool mais je pense que forcer le fait de ne pas pouvoir savescum ou rollback certains choix est très frustrant, surtout que je ne pense pas que le jeu soit très rejouable. Je me suis retrouvé avec Ray et Avarice ayant exactement la même spé puisque je ne savais pas s'il y aurait d'autres arboressences plus tard et j'aurais bien aimé pouvoir changer cela. Sinon j'ai beaucoup apprécié suivre l'aventure c'était cool.

good game

I almost never leave reviews but this game is criminally underrated and needs more exposure. I completed the game, got all achievements, and had such a fun time doing so. Phenomenal game with fantastic writing that is funny and thoughtful in a very interesting world. So many moments had me literally yelling or howling in laughter. I am someone who typically cannot focus enough to get into text-heavy or story-rich games and prefers dropping into gameplay, but Ledgerbound captivated me and held my attention. Loved the game so much I managed to drag most of my friend group into playing it and it has become almost like a book club among us. Some were concerned this was going to be a 'haha funny' game with no character depth, but the characters do have depth. It just takes a couple in-game conversations to see it past the humor- just like a real person wouldn't spill their guts immediately to you. I had such a good time being surprised that the new archetype or meme type character introduced actually had a lot going on and a full character arc that took time to unravel. Combat gameplay is great. No notes. Reminds me of Hero Academy and other games, which I loved to play. I've seen some reviews complain about the side objectives or difficulty of the intended normal difficulty but I did not find that to be the case. The optional objectives were tricky but it made them a fun puzzle. I completed all but a few missions with full marks (all side objectives) on the first try and it felt fulfilling. Additionally, not much is locked behind doing perfect combat runs (which you can replay), so I found it to be perfect. Especially when replaying combat is relatively easy and comes with really fun new dialogue lines and character art. Downsides are there could be more quality of life features for replayability or posterity, like being able to skip scenes rather than individual dialogue lines and skipping the tutorial on a second playthrough. A check sheet of which resterlude (camp) scenes you've seen for each character would also be great for those invested enough to sniff out everything. I was really expecting a new game+ with no bells or whistles or at least an open camp to keep talking to characters and replay battles whenever you'd like but was disappointed to find that none exist. There is not even a gallery. This feels like a big misstep but I'm hopeful that some of these features and more may be added in a future patch since within the first week many quality of life improvements have popped up but as of the time of this review, nothing of the like exists. Personally, while it leaves a noticeable hole only after finishing the game, these issues are minor. All-in-all, I completely recommend Ledgerbound. Right now as a game it is not perfect, but if treated as a one-time experience where you stick by your decisions, like a TTRPG or just a story, it is a wonderful experience. This is one of my favorite games that I will cherish and reference with my friends about for a long time to come. I'm very excited to see what these devs make next.
