Ledgerbound is a hilarious, narrative-driven tactical RPG/dating sim filled with all your favorite epic fantasy activities: battling evil enemies, filling out paperwork, rescuing your company from financial ruin, pursuing HR-approved relationships, and more!
When the world’s greatest heroes are cut down by an ancient enemy, your company is on the hook for paying out their life insurance claims. That is, unless you can defeat the enemy yourself, proving that those other heroes were simply underprepared—claim denied, baby!
Enjoy punchy dialogue, character-based comedy, and grounded, meaningful conversations that’ll make you fall in love. Or lust. Ideally both.
Engage in strategically dense, grid-based combat to overcome a variety of foes. Customize your team with hundreds of unique abilities, equip corporate swag that boosts your stats, and choose your characters’ promotion paths to unlock powerful new skills.
Just like in real life, time is limited and your choices matter—will you spend your evenings nurturing your blossoming relationships, or will you burn the midnight oil to improve your skills as a tactician? Remember, whatever decisions you make, you’re stuck with forever. FOREVER.
Recruit a ragtag group of weird yet lovable characters, fully voiced by a talented cast of actors who kept saying “wow, this is the horniest thing I’ve ever done.” Then fill out the appropriate HR paperwork so you can get up on them.

I genuinely love this game, enough to write a review. The mix of tactical RPG with endearing characters really sold this game and became an instant hit for me. The humor and horny won't be for everyone, but for me and my friends that I stream this to, it's been a hit. There have been many, many, many moments that had me laughing out loud, and I have gotten one of my friends to play himself (which is great, I needed someone to blab to about this game) The voice acting is top notch. Everyone knocked it out of the park, from the party members, to bosses, to side characters. There was a lot of love and care done by the writing team and voice actors, you can feel this was a true passion project. Art, characters and environments are gorgeous, the music is a bop and the gameplay is polished. I jumped into another playthrough as soon as my first was done just to see conversations that I missed in my first run. I appreciate the option to have platonic friendships that still develop in a meaningful way. Everyone stands out, and I loved the entire party. No one felt out of place, or came in too late to build a connection. And the romance is great, getting that bond up with your chosen character(s) feels so good, especially in the later half of the game. The time management system, I enjoy it. It made me really think about what I was doing in each rest, planning out my time between talking to members, equipping gear or chasing the 3 stars on battles. It won't be for everyone, but there is an option to disable this if you want. The combat itself is engaging, and the enemies getting more abilities down the line kept it fresh through the whole game. Some bugs I ran into were characters being quiet in their dialogue in some scenes, VA not matching subtitles, and in one case a battle getting stuck, leading to me utilizing the "reset battle" in the options. I would love an option to replay conversations with characters, the voice acting is too good to only hear it once. I highly recommend this to anyone, but I would suggest looking at some early gameplay to get a feel for the humor and dialogue. I look forward to what the team will put out in the future (hopefully DLC or another game)!

Came for the insurance denial, stayed for the characters, story, and comedy. Also I came but thats besides the point
The percentage hit loss on the pokemon weakness system is WAAAAAAAAY too punishing. I want to recommend this game. I love so much about it. But when I get bad RNG during a battle and it basically wipes half my party and wastes like 3 turns, it feels awful. I'm at a point where the nature of the auto save system has me questioning if I want to keep playing. I get the "choices actually matter" approach, but the degree to which you've committed makes me hate the actual battle experience because its so punishing and unforgiving. I really hate that I'm having this response because the game has a lot to offer, but I'm not looking to play a souls-like tactical RPG. Why does everything have to be a hidden souls-like now? I'm so tired of it. Also some of the side quests are poorly explained and annoying for no clear reason other than "this makes it harder". Specifically the fight at the city gate, getting screwed out of 3 stars because the attendant decides to not tell you its one character per turn until the first character tries to leave is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Please respect your players time. I am no 19. I have limited time to play games. I do not want to have to redo battles just to engage with the game. I get it, you're teaching me lessons about "you can't have everything!". Congrats on the high horse, but you're wasting my time. I would recommend this in general, maybe its better served on a lower difficulty, I don't know. But the story is great, its funny and clever writing and a lot of the game mechanics are well designed. I think a lot of people will enjoy this game. I just have some frustrations.
Buying the game for Jazz alone is worth it, the rest was cherries on top. Fantastic game
I LOVE THIS GAME SO FAR! like omg! Thank you have having full voice! makes it easier for me to process the story.
the humor is really funny! Would totes mcgee recommend muchacho
A lot of fun and a lot of laughs
It's so cuuute! And funny. And hot. And suprisingly emotional at times. I really loved all the characters of the group. Fantastic voice acting. Gameplay was enjoyable too. Had a few minor issues where bonding scenes didn't match the area I was in, or a few repeating lines, but nothing game- or immersion breaking. An immediate favourite!
Hilarious story, fun strategy, lovable cast!
I just finished my first play through on Steam Deck (worked great btw!). I've already booted up the game again to try a harder difficulty and change up some of my choices/love interest(s). I think this game is well worth your money given the quality of the content. If you're a fan of VNs and your favorite parts of RPGs are the love interests, then this is a must-buy! Pros: - Gorgeous art! - Clever writing with a lot of heart (and ♥♥♥♥ jokes). You can tell it was written by humans who cared a lot about this project <3 It took me about an hour to get invested in the story, but after that I was hooked up until the end! - Unique cast of party members (and LIs). The writing did a masterful job transforming character traits that can feel grating on first meeting into something you eventually come to love about the character (e.g. I wasn't super into Jazz's whole schtick at the start, and but around mid-game she'd transformed into one of my favorites in the party!) - Interesting strategy around combat, and ability to replay battles to retry for missed quest rewards Cons: - Since there's no going back in the story due to autosaves, there were times I accidentally selected the wrong choice, and was locked into it. I was bummed when I messed up a selection on a form and missed out entirely on
a spicy scene with Cazian
- No ability to skip "Read" content on replays. I chose a love interest who was monogamous on my playthrough, and want to play again with other LIs, but unlike other VNs, I can't skip through dialogue I've already seen in a previous run
For all its snark and spice (which I equally enjoy), Ledgerbound is a beautiful game with a compelling narrative and a cast that I found myself caring about wholly by the end, and a story I felt no less invested in either. Combat is simple but fun, felt satisfying to get strategies going even if they were basic. Camp time management can be a little iffy, but with equal shares of heartfelt moments and humour it doesn't feel too bad to have to skip out on one conversation or another. (There has also been a setting added recently to toggle off time management if it is such a dealbreaker!) Each of the party members' stories felt unique and grounded in the world too, I never found myself bored in talking to anybody. Romances also have plenty of rewarding connection and spice if that's what you're after too. Overall, full marks, the only issue I ever really had was with initial bugs both in the demo and nearby the release itself, but all the major ones that I'm aware of have been corrected!! Thank you for the opportunity to experience this story :)
