3D first-person walking simulator with a side of exploration/interaction with the environment. The game tells the story of the Space Lemmings from Space who, after running many experiments with breakfast alphabet and the space-time continuum, got blocked between dimensions (or something).
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

LavaLamp is the kind of weird little experience that feels like stumbling into a forgotten corner of the internet at 3AM (except in this particular case, i stumbled upon this experience at precilisely 4:51 AM (when the world is reserved for me and few other nightowls). The aesthetic is bizarre, psychedelic, and unmistakably vaporwave (you can practically TASTE the neon flamingos and cyan palm trees) , yet somehow it all feels strangely familiar —like a half-remembered dream composed entirely of old screensavers, fluorescent colors, abstract geometry, and questionable decisions (especially for a Xennial like your humble reviewer) Gosh, i miss the golden age of MTV, SciFi, Channel, Adult Swim, & VH1 - that's what this experience invokes in me!. ...but I digress... The SFX deserve special mention. Every little sound contributes to the experience so much so that i wonder if one could also label this as much of a sonic experience as it is a visual one, creating this wonderfully tactile audiovisual feedback loop that makes simply interacting with the game oddly satisfying (and oh boy, there's a lot to interact with!). Dreamy, hypnotic, surreal, and perfectly matched to the game's increasingly strange visual presentation - we love it. The opening "wake-up" sequence should also be noted simply due to its accurate portrayal of a realisticf "first-person-wake-up" scenario - play and you'll understand. There's not necessarily some grand narrative or complicated mechanical system hiding underneath it all. LavaLamp understands that sometimes a well-executed entertainment experience can simply be about atmosphere+interaction, experimentation, and gives your brain actual work when it comes to processing the visuals. It's trippy. It's colorful. It's weird. It's nostalgic for something that probably never existed. And it's free...when it could easily go for 9.99 and be considered a fair price. What more can one ask for?! Middle Georgia Gaming Curator's Note The "boredom-level-skip" mechanic is one of the most innovative concepts ever implemented by a game developer and should become THE UNIVERSAL STANDARD for singleplayer games.
obra de arte, e ainda é completamente de graça! tomem seu cafe da manha e é isso ai
i can't believe this game was free, considering how well thought out and enjoyable it was. i love trippy walking sims already, but this one stands out as one of my new favs! the music, visuals, and voicing were all very engaging. you can glitch out of the map on occasion if you explore a bit too far (and have to reset the chapter), but i didn't encounter any minor issues other than that! it seems like the dev is working on future projects, so i'll definitely keep an eye out for them!
